Question about Coleman Powermate Powermate 5000W Generator
Make sure you put brand new fuel in it. Fuel that has been sitting for months or years is always a problem. If there is old fuel in in, siphon it out and start with brand new from the pump gas. Also, be sure that the spark plug wire is tight and that the air filter is not clogged with oil [ often the case when the generator gets turned while moving it.].
Finally, get a can of starter fluid and an assistant.. Squirt some starter fluid into the air intake area where the air filter is located, start it up and have your helper continue to spray starter fluid to keep it running till the regular gas takes over. Joe
