Spilage hey! I hope it wasnt ministrone soup or nothing too thick and goey, you really must just let it dry out a bit then see what happens.Pressing F2 will or should take you to the bios pages for configuration of boot sequence and other technical data--navigate here with "tab" and arrow keys, save and exit or restore to factory settings etc--good luck!

Sometimes the car won't start and the dash lights and the radio lights flicker

Best place to start is the positive lead on the battery . Remove the lead and clean battery pole and terminal using sand paper until you have shiny syrfaces. Replace the lead and tighten the terminal . Check the battery for charge condition as what you describe indicates a flat battery

My 2004 chevy cavalier last week i was leaving the store and the light to pull out of the shopping center my battery light come on and car died. a jump wouldnt start it back up i changed the battery and it...

if the electrical system is not keeping the battery charged you should clean the contacts on the battery terminals and wires and then if that doesn't work your alternator might be fried, its what restores the power to the battery after starting... if the starter won't turn the car over it might need a solenoid or replaced. finally make sure you check the relavent fuses. sometimes the simplest explaination is the best.

I would check your fusible links. The wires that they are on are what power everything in your cab. Usually they're attached to the starter, the starter solenoid, or the positive battery terminal. Hope this helps!

While on Battery at airport, it went off. Pushed

Try removing the battery from the unit and re-connect.
Do this without the adaptor plugged in.
Next, plug in your a/c adaptor and see if the power light and battery starts to charge.
You may want to try at last resort, after the unit is running without the battery, install you battery and see if the charge light comes up.
Sometimes, just removing the battery and re-installing it cures the problem.
If you do not recv. a charge light and the unit will not start, HP has offered a extended 1 year warranty on top of you the original 1 year warranty.
Contact customer support by email and log your problem.
Hope this info has helped.

Critical low battery error 190

This sounds like a fail safe in the battery has engaged. See if the machine will start without the battery, on the supply only. If you can get it started then put the battery in and see if it will charge or reset the fail safe. Give it about an hour, then shut it completely down and restart it with the battery in. If it won't start at this point, then you will need a new battery.
