The Belkin wireless router was working for our home computer and one laptop, but the other laptop was not working. Later we figured out the laptop that was not working had other issues, but after calling Belkin and having support from them neither my home computer nor my laptop that was working are working now through the router. We called our local service provider and they thought the router needed to be replaced, but I don't think so since it was working until we changed settings during our Belkin support call.

You may want to click to wireless network icon on the bottom part on the rght part of your monitor and search for network. Then you may want to chose your network and, if you chosed this option, to type the password for the network.

Its not necessary to purchase a new router. Nintendo DS supports WEP encryption. You wont be able to connect if the encryption on the router is WPA. Your computer can connect on both WPA and WEP so what i suggest is for you to access the router page then check the wireless settings then change the encryption to WEP so that your Laptop and DS can connect at the same time. To access your router check the manual for the username and password

Make sure that your laptop has it's wireless network enabled and the switch if any is turned on.

It's asking for the security word that you entered into the router when you set up wireless security. You will need to enter both the wireless SSID, and the security key to make the system work.

if you are using the belkin utility (look at your task bar, there should be an icon that looks like a tv screen), open it and you will prompted with a belkin screen. now go to the AP List tab and locate the wireless name of you linksys router and connect to it. make sure that your using the same wireless settings like the wireless security (if you have enabled it on your router) so as to make the connection successful. if you are not sure about your wireless settings, open a web browser to a hardwired computer and type http://192.168.1.1 (default ip address of your router). you will prompted with a log in screen, leave the username blank and type admin (default password) on the password. then you will be prompted with a linksys screen, go to the wireless tacb and check your wireless ssid/name and look for the wireless security sub tab to verify the wireless password that you are using.

Check the wireless settings of your router, ssid, channel and wireless security. Set thoe information on your laptop so that it will work wirelessly with the router.
