I have changed all belt driven systems on the front of my 3800 park avenue and it still sqeals

squeals don't necessarily mean the belts it can be the power steering pump or the belt adjusters, even the water pump and so on adjuster for the belt if the spring adjuster is weak will not put the correct tension on the belt and it will slip, bearings in alternator can squeal when warm or cold depending on the bearing fault after time the rumble and over heat the alternator in turn lose power to the battery, power steering pump this can squeal if the bearing in the pump is dry, or there is a leak as this lets moisture into the pump. hope this helps would first check the belt adjuster and also clean the parts the belt goes round with a wire brush, and repainting them helps them stop rusting up, cheap spray paint and leave to dry before fitting belt, or use brush paint will take longer to dry but will last longer.

Dryer runs but makes loud screeching noise like a fan belt or similar. Does some drive belt need to be replaced?

yes most likely it is the drive belt. pretty easy replacement. go to repairclinic.com or appliancepartspros.com for very good videos to show you how this is done. good luck

When its drying it has a high pitch squeal.

Many driers have a belt drive drum. This might squeal if is slipping. Check the drum turns easily and the belt is adjusted correctly.

My electric dryer makes a loud squeal while drying? what is wrong

Hello

Sounds like the belt is slipping from wear.Remove rear panel of dryer and replace the belt.
Its not very hard to do.

Belt wraps wround the drum and a pully on the motor, there may be an idler pully also.

Check these pullys and motor for free turning while the belt is off.

Went off roading now have a pulley squealing cleaned it and sprayed lubricant still squealing?

You should re-clean the pulleys again and dry them, but do not spray any lubricant on the pulleys. This can cause the belt to slip, causing the squealing noise. If that doesn't help, Check to see if the tensioner is bad.

Timing belt on 1996 mazda protege slips during startup

Hello, this to me sounds like your fan belt slipping (not timing belt). To adjust the fan belt you need to undo your bolt on the alternator, pull it tight onto the fan belt and while holding it tight do the bolt back up tightly. this will stop yoour fan belt from slipping. I hope this helps.

One of two engine belts squeals when car is started.

How does the belt fit in the groove? It should fit well with no space under the belt (which, if it were too wide, it would have a space). A belt can get 'glazed' over time, and slip and cause the squeal you describe. If the belt is dried up, oiling it seems logical, but in reality you are making it easier for it to slip and make the squeal noise. I would replace the belt, and clean off the pulleys with a clean dry rag the best you can to remove any traces of oil. There is also a product called 'belt dressing' that helps the belt grip better. I would not use this on the belt with oil though, I think you should replace it.

Squeal that sounds like belt spippage

The motor slides back and forth so there is know way to tighten the belt. The new  belt is needed if your old one shows any ware or if has shiny look to it which would mean its been getting hot and slipping.
