Question about Proview Computers & Internet

1 Answer

My monitor has stopped. it did this once before but i tinkered with the computor settings and it started working again. two weeks later it has done it again. i found that if i turn the power button off and then on again the monitor will come on about 10 to 20 seconds and then go out again. this is a repeatable occurance. once it stayed on a little longer. during this occurance the screen had a notable red hue about it.

I have a Princeton LCD17D flat screen monitor and i am having the same problem. I already hooked it up to a different tower and the same thing keeps happening. I also connected a different power supply and nothing changed. The screen turns on at start up and then goes black after 20 seconds. But it is still powered on.

Washer will start and then stop 5 seconds later. It will start again 2min later and stop 5 sec after that?

I have a front loading frigidaire washer which works fine. It starts and stops throughout the whole wash but gets the wash done. That is how it works.
Does your machine simply stop and not finish the wash? Or are you concerned about the length of time it takes to get the wash done?

Just hooked up my pc yesterday worked fine. I shut down by going to start & turn off computor. Came back later to start back up. Monitor tells me in power safe mode. Tower doesn't seem to be starting...

You can try removing external devices like (ex. usb printer, external Hard drive) and try to start the computer again. And see if there are lights on the tower

Hope this helps

Smoke from monitor LG Flatron EZ T710BH

Hello pepito,
If it's working fine now, that's great! For the while, it'd be best to leave it as is it, in a well-ventilated place (not too close to walls or heater or fridges) where it can't get overheated. See if anything else happens over the next week or so. If it does again, you'd probably be able to guess what it is now, if not overheating (maybe voltage fluctuations...or maybe there were some tinkerings on with the monitor?). Either way, get it checked soon. Better to do that while it's still running.
