Same exact problem. Worked fine last night, this morning, dead, and won't charge. May have left it on last night and drained the battery, still, the cable seems a little jiggly in the connector and now it won't charge.....

Worked for my edge 305. Followed the instructions above and worked first time. You don't get anyfeed back when pressing both bottom (left hand) buttons at the SAME TIME but when you press the on button things should be back to normal.

I came in early to work so I could get in a 3-4 mile run and my Garmin did not power up. I was pissed! This solution worked perfectly, wish I had found it about 6 hours ago. Thanks to whoever thought of this wesite!

Thanks, you are my hero. I thought the thing was broken, and I threw out the receipt. I was about to shell out 300 bucks more for another one....

Steve my hero. it worked a treat

On a similar note, has anyone experienced a situation where the Edge 305 will not take a charge? When plugged in, the screen will read "battery charging in progress" for only a couple minutes, then the screen will either go blank or the unit turns itself on. In either case, the unit is no longer taking a charge. This is frustrating and sometimes it takes days to recharge since it only charges a couple minutes at at time.
Any ideas?

I have had the same problem several times (as well have some friends).

This resolves it EVERYTIME though... at the SAME TIME, hold the BOTTOM LEFT front button AND the Bottom LEFT SIDE button (this reboots it). Then just hit the power button... I am sure you will see that it powers right up.

Has anyone having this issue tried my suggestion? Just curious... I would be surprised if it did NOT work.

Won't start how ? Does the engine turn (crank) when the key is turned to the start position ? Not start an run but turn or spin ! A crank - no start Or doesn't turn or spin this is A no crank - no start . These two different conditions would need different diagnostic steps .

HOW DO YOU ADJUST CARB ON STHIL CHAIN SAW

start by turning adjustment screws in. turn low speed out one turn and the high side 3/4 turn. start engine and adjust accordingly. the one turn and 3/4 turn are the starting point. saw should start at these settings and then you can fine tune. without knowing your elevation I can't give you the number of turns .

Wont start sometimes

GM cars have bad problem with security system. If you key turn light and will start other time will stick and need shaking to turn over and won't start just replace the key. Security system need some times to refresh the memory.
1.turn key ON for 10min.
2.turn key OFF 10sec.
3.turn ON 10min.
4.turn OFF 10sec.
5.turn ON 10min.
turn OFF ON and start
total of 30 min. to refresh the memory
the next step is more expensive and need some skills.
on top of the ignition switch is a sensor go bad
replace ignition switch with the sensor and do the learning process from step 1 to 5

Have Error Code E20 - won't drain. How do I approach?

The diagnostic test is used to check individual component function only. TO START THE TEST: • Turn the Program Knob to the start position, Spin Only. • Press Start/Pause to start the cycle and save it. • Press Cancel to stop the cycle and turn off the LEDs. • Press Cancel again to turn on the LEDs. • Within 5 seconds, press and hold the Options and Start/Pause buttons until LEDs start sequentially chasing, then release buttons. 1. All the LEDs will sequentially light. Pressing a button below a light cluster will light all the LEDs in that cluster at one time to confirm functionality. 2. Turn the program knob (1) click clockwise from the start position. The hot water solenoid will activate and hot water should enter through the detergent compartment. 3. Turn the program knob (2) clicks from the start position. The bleach water solenoid will activate and cold water should enter through the bleach compartment. 4. Turn the program knob (3) clicks from the start position. The bleach and the wash water solenoids will activate and cold water should enter through the softener compartment. 5. Turn the program knob (4) clicks from the start position. The door lock solenoid will deactivate and the loading door can be opened. When the door is opened, the drum light should turn on. 6. Turn the program knob (5) clicks from the start position. The washer will fill and tumble. Once tumbling has started, the Boost Heater (if so equipped) will turn on. 7. Turn the program knob (6) clicks from the start position. The drain pump & door lock solenoid will activate and the washer will operate in high spin. 8. Turn the program knob (7) clicks from the start position. The control will signal the last error code. Exiting Diagnostic Mode There are two options for exiting theDiagnosticTestmode and returning the washer to normal operation: a) Unplug the power cord, wait 5-8 seconds, then reconnect the power cord OR b) Turn the program knob clockwise 2 or 3 clicks after the start position. Press Options and Start/Pause buttons together for a few seconds until wash cycle LEDs appear.

Difficult to start -- bad kill switch?

You have 3 safety switches located on the tractor, any one of which can cause the tractor to not crank over.
I assume the deck lever is not engaged, you are sitting in the seat and you push the clutch down when trying to start?
Start by lifting the seat and disconnecting the seat switch, push the clutch in and try to start.
Start there and we'll go from there.

Dryer turns on, but does not run

Try to turn the drum inside with no clothes in it, does it turn freely both ways?

Then as someone is holding the start button, hold the door switch button, then try to turn the drum counter-clock wise, and see if it will start turning on its own.

If it does start turning, then the motor is more than likely the problem.

If it dosen't then the timer is more than likely the problem.
