Well I can't tell you what E:62:11 means and why it disappears when memory is taken out, however I experienced this same problem with my DSC t-100 but mine did not go away no matter what i did, I looked around online for some solutions I found this one site

http://www.camerahacker.com/Forums/DisplayComments.php?file=Digital%20Camera/Sony/E.62.10_on_DSC-T9

basically what many people said was the error was probably due to focusing problems if you may have dropped the camera before. On the site they recommended to hit the camera lightly on the side where the battery is located, while the camera is booting up. I did this, and to my surprise IT ACTUALLY WORKED! I couldn't believe it but the error message is gone, and I haven't seen it since. Hope this helps.

TRY TO reset your camera in the main menu mode initalize all the settings and this should get rid of the message and also format your memory card by inserting into pc or card reader going to my computer then right click on the new drive icon, click format and follow the on screen instructions this should solve all problems

Cyber-shot DSC-F828 memory stick error C:13:01

HI,

Please clean the gold contacts of your memory card.Take any lead pencil. Take the eraser and rub it on the gold contacts on the memory stick as if you are erasing writing on paper. Do this for about 30 seconds or more until you get all the gold contacts. Put the stick in the camera, switch to 'Setup', then turn the camera on. The 'C:13:01' error will automatically disappear. At this point, quickly format the memory stick using the camera's format feature.NOTE:
Al;ways use the camera's built in function to format your memory card.Do not use the computer to format the memory card.

If you still face any problems then you will have to get it repaired.

Thank you

It means memory stick is unstable / worn out. Format memory stick by pressing Menu > format. If problem is still there, put new memory stick in camera.

C:13:01 error code means memory stick/ card is unformatted or broken memory stick/ card. please format memory stick/ card, this option is available in camera menu and try again.
If problem still there, use another memory stick/ card.
