Question about Brother Office Equipment & Supplies
I took the printer back to staples and returned it. exchanged it for a new printer.
when I brought it home, the new cartridges worked just fine. It was not the cartridges, it was the printer's problem. Thenk goodness i bought and extended warranty on the printer.
The cartridges were brand new and name brand so it didn't make sense that it could be that all 4 brand new cartridges were having a problem!

1. With unit powered On, open the front cover.
2. Press the "Options" key. Display will show "Replace Drum?"
3. Press "Start" key.
4. Press 1,0 .
5. Display will show "Accepted" for approximately 2 seconds. Then display will change to "Cover Open".
6. Close cover and see if Toner Life End error message has gone.
