Have you placed some external magnets on the Left grey
bumper and see if you can clear the OP error cord. I assume you powered cycle the machine.

Mine says OP even though the locked signal is on - 7104672.jpg

If that doesn't clear the OP error code it would be time to;

1. Confirm the 12VDC on the control board is good.

2. If good see if 12VDC is making it back to Conn_3 Pin 9 down to the LF Hand Lid Lock and thru the Magnetic Reed relay back to the Control Board Conn_3 Pin 9.

Before you go thru all that did you open the Left Lid Lock and make sure the Black lead on the magnetic reed relay did not break off from corrosion issues. I know I have a number of post on this board related to troubleshooting the left hand lid lock..................Rick

I'm on P1 and P2 of the left hand lid lock. Those pin are referenced to the schematic jut for my troubleshooting info.

I don't know why this board blocks my PIC's. They meet file size requirements and they are JPEGS I have a link around somewhere. This board is not a true DIY board and I going to pull the plug here. I visit frequently 4 other DIY boards and support the machine as na owner trying to help other owners.

Google dh1200s and you will fine me on a real DIY Appliance forum.

    Good luck.........Rich

When i lock the car with the key holder the rest of the doors lock except for mine which is the drivers side and when i press it my side of the car can still open even with the alarm on can i please

i would say that lock has a fault , may be a loose wire or may need a new lock mechanism only way to find out is to check for power going to lock if there is power then the lock is either very stiff so a good soaking around the locking rods, actuater plunger with wd 40 might free it up and moving it by hand but if still wont work from key fob a new lock seems the cure

My saab900se gas cover is locked and the fuse is good

sound like the acutator behind the gas door might be your issue. you should be able to access it by removing your trunk interior pieces and then testing the wiring / plug to see if you getting power.... try replacing the fuse... cheapest , even thou it looks good .. clean connections ... wd-40 helps ..

The door wont lock and the buttons wont work

Morgan,
1. unplug machine and let it reset. I spoke with a parts supplier who set it could take up to 3 hrs.
2. this was our fix - check door latch. it needs to send a closed signal to operate. un plug machine - remove top - i would try to lightly spray switch with WD-40 - plug in and try it. if it does't work -unplug it again -replace switch . If WD-40 works I would pick up a switch it is only a matter of time for that switch.
I hope that does it.

We live in a cold state (MN) and this year though it hasn't been incredibly cold our 2000 Kia Sephia constantly freezes shut. The power door lock on the driver side won't move from the inside or the...

part of the problem with being in such a cold place is even tho its so cold there is still moisture in the air. if you door wont close or open, you need to check the latch out and make sure its not just bent. as for not being able to unlock you door. the latching system is connected to the lock and handle. if the latch wont move don't use wd-40 that will make it worse. you need to pull open the door panel and get it greased with a grease gun. wd-40 will not keep the parts moving in that kind of cold. if latch wont reset
when you get it open, it wont close. just grease it up. oh it would help if you get water guard for your windows. protect you parts from freezing. take care.

I have a Maytag Neptune top load washer. When I attempt to start a cycle, a code appears (od) on the control panel followed by three beeps and will not operate. I've attempted to follow the procedure in...

I’m and owner as you and will toss out this info.

The OD alarm means the FAV6800AW/FAV9800AW Control Board has not sensed a lid open condition for three completed wash cycles. You can unplug the washer 120VAC power and plug back in and see if that will give you three more wash cycle before extending the OD alarm again. This would only be a temp fix. You have probably lost Lid is Closed/Lid is Open signaling back to the Control Board from the Left Hand Lid Lock assembly.

Take a look at this post and see if will help you repair the issue. I have some pic's and links in that post that may help. You will need the Service Manual for working on this machine.

I use external magnets over the left lid bumper to accurate the magnetic operated reed relay switch located in the Left Hand Lid Lock assembly to check for signaling operation of that magnetic reed relay back to the Control Board. I’m going to start out by having you check out the Magnet Reed Relay signaling from the Left Hand Lid Lock assembly.

With the Washer Lid open start a quick wash cycle, you should signal an OP alarm to the console do you? If so now close the washer lid the OP alarm should clear if the Lid Magnet is not out of position. If it doesn’t clear place couple magnets on the left bumper as I show in this post. If the OP alarm now clears then the lid magnet is out of position and the manual will show you its location to repair.

If you still trigger an OD alarm then it’s time to inspect the Left Lid Lock Plug and assembly for corrosion issues. See Page 34 of the Service Manual. The technicians thumb is on the Left Hand Lid Lock assembly. The Left Hand Lid Lock assembly is not a sealed very well and is subject to corrosion issues with its location near the bleach dispenser. If you are a DIY’er you won’t have any problem getting to the Left Hand Lid Lock assembly. The mating plug can be very difficult to remove from the assembly watch your knuckles. Be careful when you open the case halves of the Left Hand Lid lock assembly it is very easy to damage those retaining tabs. Unplug the 120VAC to your machine and follow the manual to raise the washer top from the base. If you have heavy corrosion issues you can clean up with contact cleaner ( I use WD-40) and some emery cloth/fine grit sandpaper. Check to see if the Black and Red wires are on the magnetic reed relay switch solder connections have not broken loose from corrosion. They can be re-soldered back on if they have broken loose. I don’t believe they have if you are not showing an OP alarm at the start of the wash cycle. You may want to squirt some WD-40 into the into the Left Hand Lid Lock plug and re-seat a few times if you have heavy corrosion in the Left Hand Lid Lock assembly as seen in the Pic.

If you use a DVM/Ohm meter to check the magnetic reed relay switch make sure you unseat/pull the Left Hand Lid Lock Plug from the Left Hand Lid Lock assembly to isolate the signaling leads going back to the Control Board, we don’t want to kill the Control Board with the Ohm Meter. I would only break out the DVM if I had to start troubleshooting signaling back thru the wiring harness to the control boart inputs and +12VDC output to the Left Hand Lid Lock assembly. The Control Board would have to be isolated fom the Ohm Meter measurements. I recommend not using a DVM/Ohm meter at this point of the troubleshooting process.

Here is a link for the Left Hand Lid Lock if you feel it would be easier to replace the assembly. Left Lid Lock Other suppliers will have the part I like these folks. Post back if you have additional questions.

Locked latch on the self cleaning oven

try wiggling the door latch to get it open if not try the cleaning process, if that works, and see if the door comes unlatched and the light goes off. if not the lock light switch is stuck and it will need to be taken apart and cleaned
