When I take photos I can't figure out how to get the byte size down to send on email. Right now the email photo I send is huge and takes a lot of time to download. Help.

I'm assuming you have a PC. Just right-click on the picture you want to e-mail. From the list that appears, choose e-mail recipient. A new window will open and give you the options to send the picture at different sizes. Choose one and your e-mail will open with the photo attached.

On windows vista there is no tick box to select photos to send

Exactly what program are you trying to send photos with? Windows Mail, or are you in Pictures. In Pictures simply hold down Control and then click each photo you want to send. When done click Email photos which will appear at the top.

How do I email photos from my dell computer?

A simple process to e-mail photos from any computer using windows is fairly simple. Find the folder with the pictures in them. Then select the pictures you would like to send by pressing the "ctrl" key while left clicking(left mouse button) on each picture you would like to send. Once you have selected the pictures then right click on one of the highlighted pictures and select "send to" and then "e-mail recipient" and then right click. This will bring up a page to send the e-mail using your default e-mail program with the pictures attached. You can then add any remarks, comments ect. and choose who you would like to send the pictures to.

I don't seem to be able to send photos by Kodak Easyshare e-mail even though I am on line and the address is correct.

Ditch Kodak Easyshare and just use your email program:
Attachment basics When you send photos in e-mail, the photos go along for the ride as attachments, just like any other file you add to an e-mail.
To attach a photo in Outlook:
  1. Click New to open a Message window.
  2. Fill in the To and Subject boxes as usual and type any message you wish to accompany the photos.
  3. Click Insert File (the paperclip icon), locate your file through the Insert File box, click the file's name and then click the Insert button. If you wish to add multiple files from within the same folder, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking multiple files, then click the Insert button.
  4. Repeat Step 3 for any other files you wish to attach.
  5. Click Send.
In Outlook Express:
  1. Click Create Mail to open a New Message window.
  2. Fill in the To and Subject lines and type in your message.
  3. Click the Attach button, locate the file in the Insert Attachment box and click Attach. Use Ctrl-click to select multiple files.
  4. Click Send.
In Netscape Mail:
  1. Click New Message to open the Compose window.
  2. Fill in the To and Subject lines, and type in your message.
  3. Click the Attach button or, in Netscape 6, click in the empty Attachments box.
  4. Select your file in the Enter Files To Attach dialog and click Open.
  5. To attach multiple files, repeat Steps 3 and 4.
  6. Click Send.

E-Mailing

This is because your server that you are trying to send email on doesn't support Pop3, SMTP, etc. Make sure it supports it first before attempting to enter it into Windows Live Mail.

Emailing videos/movies

you should have a photo editting program on your computer.  Windows comes with 'Paint' that will work nicely.  You need to RESIZE the pictures before sending them via e-mail.

Open the photo program, find 'resize' option, then 'save as' a new file name.

It's poor etiquette to send HUGE pics as attachments. Your friends will appreciate a nice size photo that fits the monitor.
