I put a new filter in my fridaire, but water dispenser not working, and ice maker not working

repairs should be performed by a qualified repair person. when replacing a filter make sure the filter properly installed. once secured get 3,1 gallon containers to purge the water line and reservoir. BEWARE! water may continue to run while flushing the water line. this is why you'll need 3 containers. once you are able to finish flushing the line and the water is no longer gray the flushing for the water dispenser is complete. dispose the ice in the container in the freezer. let the ice maker cycle a few hours then dispose the filtered ice. once copleted you're done.

Does the b60 have filter and were is it

The filter assembly is several inches tall, with a basket-like holder for the cartridge at its base. The unit snaps in place over the outlet in the base of the water reservoir.

Lift and remove the cover of the water reservoir, which is located on the left side of the coffee maker.

Turn the filter unit's round replacement date dial to two months in the future. This offers a reminder of when it's time to check and replace the filter.

Open the cage at the bottom of the filter assembly. Insert the soaked and rinsed filter cartridge, and then snap the cage closed.

Position the filter assembly directly over the water outlet in the base of the reservoir. Push the unit down slightly until the assembly locks into place. You should feel it click into position.

Need a descaler

instractions are from manual HD7810/00

Use the correct descaling agent
Only citric acid-based descalers are suitable for descaling the SENSEO
machine. This
type of descaler descales the machine without damaging it. For the correct amount,
see under 'Descaling procedure' below. Each descaling mixture can be used only once.
After use, the descaling mixture is no longer active.
We advise you to use the special SENSEO
Descaler (HD7012/HD7011/HD7006).
Read the instructions on the package of the descaling agent.
Never use a descaling agent based on mineral acids such as sulphuric acid,
hydrochloric acid, sulphamic acid and acetic acid (e.g. vinegar). These descaling
agents may damage your SENSEO

coffee machine.
Descaling procedure
1 Mix 50 grams of citric acid with 1 litre of water in a measuring jug. Stir until
the powder is completely dissolved.
2 Fill the water reservoir up to the MAX indication with the descaler mixture.
Then put the water reservoir back into the coffee machine. (Fig. 3)
Note: Not all SENSEO
machine types have a water reservoir with a capacity of
1 litre. If you have a SENSEO

machine with a smaller water reservoir, repeat steps
2 to 6 with the remainder of the mixture without filling the water reservoir up to
the MAX indication.
3 Press on/off button 3. (Fig. 10)
The machine is ready for use when the indicator light lights up continuously.
4 Place the 1-cup holder h with a used coffee pod in it in the coffee machine.
Close the lid and make sure it is properly locked.
Note: Always put a used coffee pod in the pod holder when you descale the
machine. This pod serves as a 'filter' to prevent the sieve or hole in the pod holder
from getting clogged with scale residue.
5 Put a bowl with a capacity of at least 1500ml under the spout to collect the
descaling mixture (Fig. 8).
6 Press the 2-cup button hhand let the machine operate. Repeat this until
the water reservoir is empty. (Fig. 25)
Never interrupt the descaling process!
7 Repeat steps 1 to 6. Replace the used pod with another used pod to filter out
the scale residue.
Note: To descale properly, you have to use 2 litres of descaling mixture.
Never descale the SENSEO
coffee machine with the lid open. Make sure the lid is
properly locked.
8 Rinse the water reservoir with tap water. Fill the water reservoir up to the
MAX indication with tap water and repeat steps 3 to 6.
Note: Do not refill the water reservoir with used hot water or the used descaling
mixture.
9 Fill the water reservoir with fresh tap water up to the MAX indication again
and repeat steps 3 to 6 once more.
Note: Always rinse the machine by letting it empty two full water reservoirs.
10 Remove the used pad and clean the pod holder after descaling to prevent the
sieve or hole in the centre from getting clogged.

I have a 1hp sta-rite above ground pool pump. The pump model number is MPRA6E-147L The pump is about 4 years old, and during our summers it runs about 12 hours a day (May through September) and during...

It sounds like there was a lack of water to the reservoir, which is, I assume the inlet reservoir with the basket strainer in it.
1. Is your water level in the pool high enough to keep the reservoir full?
2. There is an o-ring or gasket on the reservoir cover, is it there and lubricated so there is no air leakage?
3. Put a garden hose into the open reservoir to see if the pump moves this water out.
Do all of this with the filter set to just go back to the pool so you can see the results.
Try this and comment back.
Good Luck,
Gary

This worked well for my Platinum series Keurig. It has not failed since and I "brush" the filter under the reservoir when I change the filter in the water reservoir.

I have a friend with a Whirlpool ED5PHAXMB00. It's producing ice, and dispensing ice, but no water will dispense. She changes the filter evey time the light comes on, so am thinking it's not that. Have...

Some refrig's , water goes to filter first , some thru water valve first and then the filter . On this model , it goes to the water valve first , then the filter .
1) never change the filter just because the light says to . Only replace when icecubes get small or when water flow from dispensor slows . A filter can last 6 mths- 1yr. and sometimes longer .
2) the resevoir is in the refrig section , behind the lower crispers
3) the water valve is probably the problem

Water dispenser is not functioning any longer for GD5RHAXNB00.

Check the reservoir behind the crispers to see if it is frozen. then check to see if the dispenser switch is sending power t the watervalve. If all these are ok then the problem is likely the valve.

To clean machine: Run 2 cups water and 2 cups distilled white vinegar through machine like you would normal coffee.

To get rid of annoying self-clean lite: unplug machine from wall outlet for 20 minutes or longer.
