Question about Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router
I have been using a aircard. I am home now. My laptop is not recieving a signal from my wireless router, No sure why. It was working before.
Check if the wireless light (wlan) on the router is on or if it's blinking.
if not, try to power cycle the devices. turn off the router first, then your wireless computer. then turn on the router first, check if the wireless light is on and tehn scan again for the wireless signal
if it's on, access the router's page (open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 on the address bar, leave the username blank and type "admin" on the password), go to the wireless tab and check if the wireless is on. try to also change the wireless channel to prevent interference or customized the wireless settings of your router (e.g. ssid).
for isolation, check if the wireless computer is able to detect other wireless signals near you or try to use another wireless computer and check if teh other computer will be able to see your wireless router
hope this'll help you
