Take front wheels off by pressing the two tabs at the top together and pushing it down. This may need a bit of hand strength to do if your having turning problems so get daddy on the job. Next wash the wheels in a bucket of warm soapy water and clean the socket the wheels came out of. Spray the wheels and socket with silicon spray and reassembly. While at it put some spray in the handle lock hubs (THEY NEED IT). If you're still not happy Bugaboo sell a larger (Snow Wheel) for the front.

I have a 2000 ford expedition, when i drive it, it makes a grinding sound and bad vibration from front passenger side. It almost seems as if it is not completely out of 4wd.

Most likely you have a bad wheel bearing on the right front tire but at the same time you could have a stuck brake caliper on the front right as well you can tell if it's a bad brake caliper if the vehicle well rolling at about 5 miles an hour and shift it into neutral bad bearing if when you shift the vehicle turning the wheel hard to the right it kind of grinds you could also jack up the front right tire and turn the wheel rotating it to see if it is stiff

I have Singer Featherweight 132. It won't sew??I can hear the motor run, i could see the machine trying to go but it's like something stopping it. Anyone know how to fix this problem. help! D

If you can't turn the hand wheel with your hand easily then it is definitely stuck.
a. Take out your bobbin and case. Check to see if the machine will turn with it apart. Clean area with qtip. Put one drop oil on race and return the bobbin case. Recheck and set tension of bobbin. (Maybe replace thread). The bobbin can't be higher than the case.
b. Raise the pressure foot. Thread the top as normal except this time give small tugs on thread to check for any snags in any of the holes.
c. Once you have it back together check to see if it will move easily by rotating the hand wheel. If not then it may need to have major adjustments.

1998 Ford Escort steering wheel lock will not unlock. Seems jammed.

The steering wheel was turned when the key was removed. So when you try to turn on the key, turn the wheel one way and the other way to release the pressure on the key. The key should turn ok.
Hope this helps.

Y cant i remove my front wheel tire on my 1995 camry

being an older model it is most likely that it simply has not come off very many times and is now stuck on. to get it off just take a small block of wood and place it on the back side of the rim then beat it with a 2.5 pound sledge start on the bottom side of the rim then rotate to the top and repeate untill loose

Over time the grease in the central pivot shaft hardens to restric the rotation of the focusing wheel. Heat from a hair dryer combined with a little WD-40 can ustally re-soften the grease permitting the wheel to turn slightly. Working the wheel back and forth over a short period of time should get it to work again easily.

Lawnmower front wheels are locked

Take it apart and clean it. Grass and oil can easily clog any lawn equipment. Is it belt driven? If so turn the belt with your hand the way it would normally rotate. Follow the belt to the engine and clean the rotor if that doesnt work.

Oreck upright hard to push

If hard to push, only a few things to check:

(1) Rear wheels will get hair or thread wrapped around axles, dust, etc. and be hard to turn. Make sure each wheel turns easily.

(2) Small wheels on newer models (since about 1997-98) toward front are worn, missing or have same problem as item 1.

(3) Brush roll not turning. The brush roll actually helps pull this unit along the floor, as it rotates in the "forward" direction. If the belt broke, and you do not realize it, it may suddenly seem harder to push.

My older kenmore refridgerator/freezer isnt cooling well

Likely defrost mode, which on older models runs for a fixed amount of time whether needed or not.

The motor that times the cycle may be stuck or running slowly. It often is located at the bottom front of the frig behind a cover that runs between the front legs. Unscrew it and you will see a small motor running, that, through gears, turns a wheel 1 rotation every 24 hours.

The wheel can also be turned by a screwdriver - turn it until you hear a click that indicates defrost cycle is off. Should solve the problem short-term.

Long term, replace the faulty motor or clean it off to run smoothly. Alternately, unplug the motor so that defrost never kicks in automatically and defrost it manually.
