One thing you should try first is to get ahold of your sister and get the pass word from her. Then you can go in to her account and go to controll pannel then to user profiles, then change a profile, select your profile and set it to administrator. This will give you the permissions to change things on the computer. If you are unable to get ahold of her, you can also go the route of pressing F8 at start up, and select safe mode as your start up choice. Once you get to the log in screen select Administrator, hopefully she has not changed the settings for this account. If you are able to log into the puter this way then simply go into controll pannel and do the same with your account. Change it to administrator. Then restart the computer and log into your account as normal.

I would like to know how to lock the computer so the little ones cannot turn it on without an adult.I go to the lock button but you can still turn it on .Do I have to put in a pass word?

As I shooo my 3 year old away from the tower's power button I'll answer this one! YES! password the system, you can make it simple as 1 or 2 digits to make it simple to log in. Also, what i do is set the power button not to shut down the PC if it is pushed. (Start, Shut Down is used) this is how I did it: Right click on desktop and click "Properties" click on "Screen Saver" Click on "Power" then click on "Advanced" as you will see there is the setting to change this.
Hope this helps

Downloading games and other downloading

well that just sounds like u may run out of capacity to keep downloading. In my opinion I would delete every game that I dont play anymore, to keep downloading more. So maybe that could be the problem. Ah and remember u need to be the administrator of ur account's computer to download stuff, maybe someone (like sister or brother) changed it!!??? I hope this could help a little bit! But I'll look for info!

its a bit long process(WINDOWS XP)
wot you have to do is turn off the computer completely
after you power it back on start hitting F8 KEY
You will get system advanced boot meny
using up or down arrow key highlight safe mode and press enter
it will ask your operating system just press enter again
it will load some files and then you will get user name options
other than your name there would be an administrator
choose administrator
don't put in any password if it asks
just hit enter
if u are able to log on as an administrator you can go to user accounts option in control panel and cad do anything
