Can i use the modem in my old pc to use 4 dialup on my new lappy anyway?

Not sure I follow you. Your new lappy? I assume you mean new laptop and is so then no, you cannot. There is no way to install a pci modem from a desktop pc into a laptop. However, if you mean you want to share the network connection from your pc to your laptop via dialup then yes, but it will be slow. Just need more info if that is what you were meaning.

Trying to connect to my Fast Access Wireless DSL Home Network. Continuously get the following message: REMOTE NETWORKING PPPoE Access Concentrator is not responding. Try again later. I have no clue...

Hi Sherole,
Sorry for the late reply. I need some more info before i can assist you properly. Is the Netbook connected to the Wireless network via cable or you trying to connect wireless? As i see it you are trying to do a dialup via your router which you dont really need.. If you can do the following for me. Press the start button then go Control Panel and Internet Options and then go to the Tab called Connections.. In the field where it says Dailup and Virtual networks what connections are listed?

First connect your mobile to your laptop and pair the device.

Now create a new dialup connection with number *99#
do not give any user name and password.
now you can connect if you have activated all necessery in your phone.

Connectivity problem

it is still trying to connect via your modem, go to control panel>network connection, and you will see your modem dialup connection, right click and select dissable if required.

next open up internet explorer, go to tools>internet options, then click on connections tab, then half way down select 'never dial a connection'.

Click apply>ok, then close internet explorer, open it up again and wait a few seconds and it will connect via your router(asuming that it is correctly set up).

If no page appears then click refresh a few times.
