Install bootcamp. It is the certified parallel for the dual core. If you already have it installed, try installing XP again, or Vista.

It doesn't work that way. Parallels provides a virtual video card, which provides only the most basic features needed for things like productivity apps. If you want to play Windows games, you should look into using Boot Camp instead.

I need to know how to install Windows XP on Mac. Thank you!

The easiest, and my personal favorite, is to use Parallels Desktop for Mac:
http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/

If you're not into desktop virtualization (running an OS inside of another OS at the same time), you can do something called dual boot, in which you'll have the option after you turn the computer on to use either Windows XP or Mac. You'll have to reboot everytime you want to switch, though.

Remember to keep a current backup of your data before attempting a Windows XP installation.

Yes same here, heaps of issues, but I was running it under Parallels on a Mac , eventually had to set it up on an old Windows XP box, but now just updated Parallels to ver 5 and it all now works on my Mac running windows.

Parallel Desktop on Mac OS X

Ahh - Parallels is working but can't locate the disk image for XP (assuming) that was created by Apple's BootCamp.

Locate the image "disk0.hdd". Once found, copy it to your "Documents/Parallels/My Boot Camp/ " folder (you're logged in on the Mac as jeremybrunelle right ?)

Buying an apple computer

I would suggest you do not buy it. I would buy if they let me bring in my software and machine to test before purchase. My experience tells me it wont work because of drivers for the machine. Buyer beware! If they do not allow the test do not buy!
