The password exists to protect you from a thief in possession of your computer from using the stolen computer.

Find the original sales-receipt, to prove that you are the owner, and telephone Dell, and they can assist in bypassing your problem.

How to reset dell inspiron 1525 bios password

A laptop BIOS password is more secure than a traditional desktop to help protect the data if it was stolen. If you are the original owner of the laptop, I recommend contacting the manufacturer of the laptop. Companies such as Dell, Lenovo, and Toshiba can reset the password if you are the original owner using the Service Tag, disk, or give you exact steps for your laptop.

if you forgot the BIOS password, then there is only one way out.
You will need to reset it manually.
That is you will need to open the case and remove the onboard battery.
Then you place it back.
