Question about Fisher and Paykel Active Smart® E522BR Stainless Steel Bottom Freezer Refrigerator

Fisher & Paykel active smart E521T

Hi,

Can someone post the codes for the active smart E521T. I had a green flashing light when I open the door. It was beeping at night for no reason, I found the fan in the freezer black wire was broken, I replaced the unit and know that both the fans now work. But the fridge seems to forgot how to work.
The fans seem to work for 15 secs then cut out, a couple of clicks in the computer box I cant hear the compressor working, What could be wrong now? I have solid green lights inside the fridge.

I would reset the module. Open the fridge door, keep the freezer door closed, then press the mode button (located on the display panel. This will re initiate the electronics

Fisher Paykel RF175WDRX1. Why does the fridge beep when I open it?

check the thermostat setting for the compartment
it may not be set low enough so the alarm goes off when the compartment temperature reaches or exceeds that setting
some fridges have a system whereby if the door is open too long then it notifies the user to close the door

I have a fisher & paykel active smart fridge the fridge part freezes everything and wont stop beeping when door open

Your fridge is telling you there is a fault, i'd say one of the 2 fans are not working. If everything is freezing in the bottom of the food compartment then the upper fan is faulty. You have to remove the shelves & remove the rear panel, the fan is in the shute at the bottom, remove, repair the broken wire or replace. Make sure unit is unpluged.

Fisher paykel refrigerator fault model E521T

I had the same problem, constant beeping. I removed the fan, tested it with a 12v power supply, worked fine. The beeping and flashing on the control unit was still happening though. I read online that the door reed switches can play up, so i decided to test this. I took a regular household magnet, the type you use to hold the kids drawings up on the fridge and held it against the door reed switch. Beeping stopped, fans kicked in, everything started working!!!! So I concluded that either my reed switch is not being tripped when the door shuts or possibly a reed switch problem? maybe not as sensitive as perhaps it should be..? either way my next port of call will be look at the seals around the door, are they stopping the door from shutting properly? I thought for a temporary measure you could get a strip magnet and put it inside the reed switch housing. It just means your door wont trigger the internal light when opening...

I have a Fisher & Paykel Fridge Model E521T Serial # BSQ725303 The fridge is still working but it is making a groaning noise like the compressor is cutting in & out. Also the green & red...

Ah the evaporator fan is the noise.
Either the fan is hitting on built up ice or the bearings in the motor are worn.
If it is ice then you have a defrost problem and you will need a technician to help you there.
If it is the bearings you will need a new fan motor. Again a technician can help you

I have a Fisher and Pykel Fridge / freezer Active Smart

on reading the user manuals, it suggests actually calling the F&P customer service numbers and telling them the pattern of the lights flashing.

They can ?diagnose the fault from the light sequence and can then tell you what u need to have fixed.
