SOURCE: pc68xl extremely distorted at 400 hz or less input

One thing I have learned over the years,
There is no such Modulation to on a cb radio to get over 8 watts dead key and no more then 8 watts swing.
All Cb shops are the milk men.
Some Cb shops do not know this and some do.
I have heard of cb shops being in business over 20 years ect...
and they sware that a cb can swing over 15 watts for most basic cobra 29's and unidens.
Best advice to those interested in cb radios is to keep it at 4 watts or adjusting L-14 for full modulation.
Please note that No Cb radio will have 100 percent modulation.
I say full because those who call it full mod. Its really like 60-70 percent at full modulation. No radio will get full mod.
Please research this before wasting money with the
15-30 watt final scam/lie CB shops say they did for you.
What happens is There so called Full modulation is really just a 8 watt increase, which the SWR watt meter shows more ten possible.
It traces back into a resistor and the out put says up to 80 watts swing.
Its false!

Tenma 72-2580 scope I want to hook up the scope to monitor the rf wave form and audio wave form on my ham radio how do I do this

I suspect a small antenna could pick up the transmitter level. And the audio I suspect is from the speaker. That is a level the scope could handle. Solder a couple wires to the speaker or hook the scope leads to the speaker output if it is an external speaker rig. I am also a Ham and have a O scope. 2 Channel 30 MHz Oscilloscope with 8 Color TFT Display

My Hameg 203-6 scope i think may have a problem.

You may have channel 1 set to DC input and channel 2 set to AC. If your DC balance is set correctly, as you mentioned, then there is a DC component to the waveform. Having the scope set to DC will show this DC offset, but set to AC, it will not be seen.

What would cause the speedometer to quit working, and the tranny to shift hard,on a 1993 Ford Bronco 5.0?

Probably trans output speed sensor or related wiring. Assuming it's an automatic? Observing these values unfortunately requires a pretty pricey scan tool or an oscilloscope if you go old school. If you can find a 'scope it'll be a square wave pattern.

1999 mazda millennia wont start showed p1345 code is there a way of testing the camshaft position sensor

you can test the cam shaft sensor ,but you will need a lab scope.
depending on what type of sensor if its a 2 wire sensor it will produce a a/c signal, if it a 3 wire sensor it will produce a square wave signal. but with out a lab scope. it just a guess

I have got a BMW 318i 1999 e46.the abs/asc/parkwarning lights stays on,the car was in an accident and the control arm and cv was replaced, the wires of the sensor was damaged and may have...

It is possible. I would look for further damage, or repairs that were not soldered. It could also be in the process of repair, the differential pressure valve got bumped off center, Parking brake switch may be out of position due to stresses on the unibody sheet metal, etc.

It is also possible the sensor you used from the junkyard may be bad. You should be able to test it with an analog meter or better yet an oscilloscope. With whell raised you can spin it, connect test leads to the sensor on a low voltage stting first- spin the tire slowly- the meter should deflect as a tooth on the sensir ring pass in front of the sensor itself. If no response on a voltage setting set meter to at leask a 1000 ohm or 10,000 ohm scale or with a scope setup, put a 1.5 volt battery cell in series with one sensor lead to put bias on the sensor that the scope can register. you may have to swap polarity of the cell if no response use a small penlight cell. The meter will have the needle deflect as the circuit resistnace changes, and a scope setup would show a square wave pattern as the sensor is turned on and off as the ring teeth pass.

Attenuated output

Since you are able to view the output i'm assuming you are using an oscilloscope and only the positive or negative half of the sine wave is displayed. The output stage will be using a complimentry pair of output transistors, one amplifies the positve half cycle the other the negative. These are driven by a driver stage (phase splitter). One side is not amplifying. First measure the pos' and neg' LT supply rails. If ok check
ouput transistors with analog Ohm meter for base / emitter / collector continuity. If the amp uses an output IC and LT supplies are ok then use scope to view input signal, if input ok but output bad then IC is suspect. Since both channels are affected your problem is most likely a missing LT supply rail.

How to program an old regency 1060 scanner

I'm not too sure about this particular model, but other Regency variations require you to push the "Manual" button, enter the channel number you want to set (usually 01-09 for single digits) and then enter the frequency you want. On some you may need to enter the frequency first and then the channel number.
