SOURCE: TV got hit with a toy

This is indicative of a cracked PDP panel (the plasma panel itself). Even though there may not be impact damage on the outside (the filter), it has probably cracked the inner layers. Unfortunately, it is probably more expensive to fix than to replace the entire unit.

SOURCE: TV got hit with a toy

Yor LCD screen is broken, unfortunatly it usually cost as much or more to replace the screen than it does to buy a new tv. If you are adventureous you could try to find the same tv that is not working and combine the two to make one good one. Sometimes you can find them on ebay.
Or you could sell it like it is.
Let me know if I can help.

Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jason_77a19afa8d604dee

SOURCE: sharp lc46d64u screen has vertical green lines

Unfortunately my friend, there is not a whole lot that can be done. Sharp has a great limited warranty, but it does NOT cover ANY problems due to physical damage. Getting screens replaced often times cost more than the tv itself. Save yourself the trouble of getting pissed off at sharp because they wont help you if you decide to call and replace the tv. Good luck 2 u

My kids threw a small piece of Lego and hit tv screen. Now Screen have a horizontal line across and you can actually see the point of impact where it was hit. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you

It has caused a screen bleed of the pixels. There is no way on repairing this unless you replace the whole screen which will cost as much as the t.v. itself. As time persist, the lines will become larger as the crack will spread.

Lego broke the front glass of the LCD........... time for a trip to Best Buy or Circuit City for a new TV. Cost to replace the screen will exceed the cost of a new TV.

Tv lcd screen got knocked know a red line and a dark patch is getting bigger across screen

You have damaged the LCD Display, the cost of those are close to the cost of a new set. One day the manufacturers will put a safety screen on the front like the older projection sets had to protect those screens. When I sell a lcd set I always recommend to the customer to have a piece of Plexiglas installed over the front, especially if it's for the kids room. Of coarse it's a DIY project.

Theres a line threw my tv.

It has a problem in the vertical sweep circuit that puts a nonlinearity in its output and you see the glitch in the normally gradual sweep as a line. Since a hit upside the set seems to help, you should just resolder the whole vertical circuit area (doesn't take long) and see if that cures it. If not, start replacing the electrolytic capacitors in that area.
Hope Ya Fix It!
