If this is the stock radio for this car call the mercedes dealer, they will Ask for your vin number, and they can provide you with an unlock code, this is usually the only way, as each radio has its own custom unlock code associated with the particular cars vin, and also the serial number on the back of the radio. If this radio came from a different avenger , you will most likey have to take it to a mercedes dealer, so they can unlock it for you using their computer.
apparently the FREE was (small print) unless you unsubscrible it will auto start... i would then call the CC company and complain and STOP PAYMENT. never give your CC or bankaccount to any FREE.
Service...
Regretfully due to reasons of theft or piracy we do not pass the radio codes here at FixYa. If you contact your local Mercedes-Benz dealer they will give you the 5 digit code. (You must have your registration and know the complete serial number of the radio)
Your radio/nav system needs a code. Go the your dealer's parts department , give them the VIN of your car( should be free $0). Punch in the code through the car radio and your radio/nav system should work right away.
Not sure about the European version, but the American factory version will not play video DVD's while the vehicle is in motion, (Drivers area) due to laws against this. Also...just to cover the non-factory installs, most aftermarket indash DVD players have a safety switch which prevents the driver from playing DVD movies while driving the vehicle. The vehicle must be in park for the DVD player to play a movie.
call your nearest mb dealer and supply them with the vin number is the vehicle id number located in lower left front of windshield and they will charge you a fee for it /good luck
