Hi,

If you have forgot BIOS password then you have to reset CMOS jumper setting. Please follow the below steps: Open the Laptop back panel. Locate the CMOS battrey, remove it & then with the help of a screw driver keep on pressing the terminal inside it and turn ON the computer for 10 secs and Turn Off (make sure you keep on pressing the terminal with a screwdriver while turning ON). It will short the BIOS setting. Now, fix the CMOS battrey & restart the computer. This will take care of the issue.
If it is a desktop open the computer and you will be able to see the CMOS battery, please remove it & then with the help of a screw driver keep on pressing the terminal inside it and turn ON the computer for 10 secs and Turn Off (make sure you keep on pressing the terminal with a screwdriver while turning ON). It will short the BIOS setting. Now, fix the CMOS battrey & restart the computer. This will take care of the issue.

Hi there,
You can reset the bios password fairly easy. You will need to unplug the laptop from power and remove the battery pack. Then you will need to turn it around and you will see a cover plate. Remove the plarte and inside you will see a little flat battery. Just remove it and replace after 2-3 mins. Then close up and replace battery and restart. Should have cleared the bios.

Hope it helps

Hi,

im sorry to hear that but unfortunately, if youre not the one who created the BIOS password, theres no way for you t acces it anymore, what you can do is to reseat the CMOS battey on the motherboard so that BIOS password will be reset.

Hope this will help...

Hdd user password

Hi there
This mainly happens when someone else has been on the laptop and have been into the bios to create a HDD password accidentally or otherwise.
you may be able to reset the password from within the bios although this is highly unlikely, you may have to ask your son what the password is or if a friend could have created a password.
Your not going to be able to access the hard drive until you have or can change the password
