E 13 is the code for no ignition. It can be caused by several things.
A bad igniter
A bad gas valve
A bad circuit board
Combustion blower not running
If you are not comfortable working on a gas heater you should get someone that knows what they are doing to look at it. Preferably someone that specializes in the Monitor heaters. Most furnace repair people don't know a lot about the Monitor's.

Another thing to check is the rubber air lines inside the heater. Make sure they haven't cracked or split.

2005 2.2 eco tech threw a P0171 code. Smoked the motor and found no vacuum leak. Engine raises and lowers RPM's at around 3800 RPM's Fuel pump puts out 50 psi at idle and lowers to 48 when given gas.

Did you view sensor data parameters on a professional type scan tool ? What are the fuel trim's at ? long term & short term , Are the O2 sensors switching normally , MAP sensor data etc.... What kind of vehicle are we talking about ? The fuel pressure droping a couple PSI doesn't mean the fuel pump is bad . Suggest you take it to a qualified repair shop.

Monitor MPI it flashes F 13 or 14 & smells, I had it cleaned 6 months ago

The codes are "E" Codes. an E13 is no fuel. E-14 means flame rod malfunction. Unplug the heater then reconnect, this will reset the heater. Try your red prime button. Could also be the fuel pump or your fuel source feed line isn't flowing fuel.

I have code 51 flashing. Where is the air bag diagnostic module located?

Hi, the code 51 flashing means that the internal fuse is blown and the short to ground is no longer present. If the short to ground returns, the code will change to 13 (air back circuit shorted to ground) or 14 (primary crash sensor circuit shorted to ground), but it will only flash 13 or 14 when the short is present. If the code remains 51, then first find and repair short before replacing the diagnostic monitor (what people call air bag module).

01 buick engine 3800 runs fine has code p0452 an code p0102 what should i look for

The p0452 code means Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input. This means that you may have problems with the fuel system. Is the car running? The p0102 code is for mass air flow low voltage. Hope this helps

I'm getting an "E 13" code on my Monitor 2400; what does that mean? I don't have a manual to tell me.

E 13 means ignition failure. You can see a list of error codes at www.monitorproducts.com. What happens when you try to light the heater? You can contact me at [email protected].

I have a monitor 2200 that is reading ee 13. what does that mean?

EE13 on a Monitor is one thing. The same code on a Toyostove is completely different. A Monitor EE13 means there was no flame at ignition. On a toyostove EE13 is the burner thermistor.

On the Monitor I would check my fuel tank. On the Toyo you may have to have the dealer help you, as it could be something easy like a very cold day or more complicated as a main circuit board.

2002 chevy impla v6 esngine 3800 check engine light is on, codes read po102 what does this mean

Code p0102, on either the 3.4 or 3.8 (3800) v6 engine is a problem in the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF). If any work has been done to it just prior to this code, then you need to make sure the air cleaner, duct work, breather tubes, etc. are properly connected and not loose. If that is OK, then may have a bad, or dirty sensor.
