After enjoying wireless connection thro' this router for the past year i find that it will no longer give me a wireless connection and i have had to revert back to the old method of connecting. My question is two fold , one - can i use the reset button on the bottom and just go thro the motions as i did originally when i first connected it . And two - to use the re set button do i just press it with a pin or what ? looking forward to your help John D

Yes, you can change the router back to the default settings by -
power up the router, then press and hold the pinhole RESET button with a sharp point for 7 secs.
The default password = blank (just press Enter)

Router works well most of the time....then for past two weeks it won't rout to other 2 PC and will not allow me to access modem. If I disconnect and plug in direct to PC modem works. Called high speed...

I have had similar problems in the past with 3 different brands of wireless routers, including the linksys Wireles-G router. In all cases, it was the same scenario, worked fine for a year or so, and then started giving inconsistent intermittent connectivity problems. Resetting, recycling etc. etc. would work for a while and eventually it would become unusable, and I would end up replacing. I went from a D-Link wireless router, to a Belkini, to a Linksys, and now use the Apple airport wireless, which I have also recently replaced with another Apple airport wireless. So unfortunately, I can't tell you if it's me doing something to kill them or if they are just short life expectancy for wireless routers, but the only fix I have experienced is replacing the router. Good luck...

Wireless Network Connection is no longer connected

I've had this problem before. Simply power cycle the device (unplug it, wait 20 seconds, and plug it back in). If this starts happening often it may be nearing the end of this products lifecycle (you may need to replace it). I had mine for 3 years before I had to replace it.

I have started to not be able to connect two

hello,
i belive i know what is happening
what is happeing is that ur router is giving you the same IP address to both your computers this happens alot when you have a network,
what you would have to do is call the manufature of that device the one giving the wireless signal then tell them that your the router is giving the same ip´s to both PC´s or laptops and they would force the ip´s depending on the settings that you would be using at this time

MY WIRELESS LINSKYS HOOKED UP NOT FINDING MODEM/CANNOT CONNECT

You don't use a modem to connect with a wireless router. Connect an ethernet cable between the laptop and the router to ensure that both are working. If this gives you an internet connection then the commonest problem is an incorrect wireless key. Reset the key on the router then cut and paste it into the wireless network setup in the Control Panel. Wireless drivers are frequently updated and you should check for a newer driver.
