I got the 1440x900 resolution on the onboard graphics chip but the refresh rate is all wrong. I'm currently trying to update the graphics driver I'll let you know how it goes.

    I
have Samsung SincMaster 2053BW monitor, but the PC doesn't support
1680x1050 resolution. The MB is k7som+ Model Version

V7.5C. I changed the original BIOS with newest version I
found on the ECS page and video driver, but have no result.

What have I do? Can I download newer version of VBIOS and will it solve my problem?

    Hello,

Do you need the bios update for your video card or motherboard that has onboard video where the blue/while socket for your monitor are close to the keyboard, mouse and USB ports?

I may also need to ask you a few more clarifications to be reasonable assured we are updating you correctly. This last part is important, more important than you may imagine as an incorrect bios update procedure could disable your PC.

    Regards,
    Worldvet

I bought a lcd monitor samsung syncmasterB1930 and it requires 1324*1068 screen resolution. i have installed the drivers for the monitors but still unable to get the desired resolution. is there any way...

The native resolution if this monitor is 1440x900 - i have no idea how you end up with that weird resolution. In any way it will not accept a higher resolution.

You can download the BIOS updates and drivers from ASUS WEB site. Select your model motherboard/computer/laptop, and make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system. Please click on this link to their WEB support site : -

I have pentium 4 processor & 845 GZD chipset from last one month my LCD 19 is not displaying with this board but 15 TFT monitor is OK with that so can i know how to solve this

most likely the monitor receives a signal/resolution it can't accept. Try to boot in the BIOS - if it's the same then the monitor itself is defective and you must take it to be repaired.

LCD not being detected

Restart computer -> Keep tapping on F8 key till safe mode option appears-> login using safe mode -> when login complete -> rightclick on my computer -> properties-> hardware tab -> Device Manager -> click on Sub-option "Display Adapters"-> Right click the adapter inside -> properties -> driver tab -> rollback drivers.
Follow instructions and restart and choose normal windows if asked.

If not successful, goto start -> all programs -> Accessories -> System tools, -> system resore -> choose restore to a previous... -> choose a date before the date you updated drivers. dont go 3-4 month, you might loose data. choose a closer date to the date you found the issue. follow the instructions.

restarts automatically and recovery screen comes. dont worry this is normal. when done, restart the system and see if resolution is alright.

get back to us with what has happened, we will support you further.

thanks, have a nice day....

Can't see 1440x900 resolution in display settings. in LG w1942s

go into the refrash rate and change it to something other than what it is you may need to go up or down it depents on the manufacture settings. also they may say the monitor can do it but it cannot do it, drivers are a big factor also.

right click, select the vedio card options, software option for the card, or properties, display options

control panal, open up personalization, diplay settings, advance setting, choose the best option for your needs.

1440x900 resolution required

check and make sure that you are using the Intel drivers and not the default windows xp drivers. The default drivers are very limited and only offer a few different resolutions to choose from.
