Hi,
I have a problem with 19" LCD. Could not get 1440x900 resolution. I did some research on the web and I would need to update bios to 2.28.00 version. Where I can get this version and how to do it?

Hello,

Do you need the bios update for your video card or motherboard that has onboard video where the blue/while socket for your monitor are close to the keyboard, mouse and USB ports?

I may also need to ask you a few more clarifications to be reasonable assured we are updating you correctly. This last part is important, more important than you may imagine as an incorrect bios update procedure could disable your PC.

-   I have Samsung SincMaster 2053BW monitor, but the PC doesn't support 1680x1050 resolution. The MB is k7som+ Model Version V7.5C. I changed the original BIOS with newest version I found on the ECS page and video driver, but have no result.

What have I do? Can I download newer version of VBIOS and will it solve my problem? -   al_yankov

-   I got the 1440x900 resolution on the onboard graphics chip but the refresh rate is all wrong. I'm currently trying to update the graphics driver I'll let you know how it goes. -   drabir

have you tried looking the bios in MSI website? try lowering your LCD's refresh rate.
