Just go to Message Settings Select Others in that you'll find Memory in use in that phone memory is selected you should change it in to Memory card

A general: memory full close some applications and try again appears everytime i send a message

Hi....
Try the following... *Restore your Phone once (To restore Goto Menu>Settings>Restore Factory Settings>OK(default security code is 12345)
*Clear some memory of Phone and Memory

*Scan your Phone and Memory
If problem persists you need flash your phone
(formating delete all data including messages,contacts,etc... So i suggest you to back up all the files before formatting You can back up file using Nokia PC suit) To back up your files *Install the Nokia PC suit *open Nokia PC suit >Select Back up
To restore Backed up data *Open PC suit>Tools tab>Restore>Select Restore>select a restore point(restore point is file in which all data's are saved)>Ok and wait for 5-10 mins.

To flash you need
*USB cable compatible with your handset *A Computer *Nokia PC suite of your handset *Internet connection(Min speed 1Mbps) *Nokia software updater(you can download by using Nokia PC suit)
To flash *Install the PC suite *Connect to USB *Open the PC suit *Select UPDATE PHONE SOFTWARE(dowload the Nokia Software updater by selecting this option) *Install the "NOKIA Software Updater"*Select Update**....(It takes 10-30 Mins)
**Please don't disconnect while updation process

I hope this helps... Thank you have a nice day

My nokia N95 wont operate it always says"no enough memory to perform operation.delete some data first."although i delete all message in my inbox, phonebook, and everything in the phone memory, still ddint...

Back-up your data first.then insert *#7370# and the phone will restart. If it didn't helped you,use a software update(which is awailable for free on nokia's official website and you're encouraged to do upgrading to have full benifits from your handset)

I keep on receiving a message saying unable to receive message-memory full...but the memory is far from full. I have deleted all my text messages, taken the sim out, battery off, etc. It tells me I have 112...

From what I can see, this is a common issue with this phone. The fix is to update the firmware to the 2.0 version.

Not able to send message

I work at o2 in Bury, if you goto nokias website you can do a firmware upgrade for both handsets free of charge. You do need the USB data cable (DKU-2, DKU-5 or CKU5 cables) that came in the box

Support site is here, http://www.nokia.co.uk/get-support-and-software/download-software/device-software-update if there is an availiable update it will reformat your handset with that.

If you want to see if its done this, before you update key in * # 0 0 0 0 # and take note of the Version then do the same once finished. If all else fails, so long as your phone is still under manufacturers warranty you should be able to have it repaired at a Nokia Service Centre located around the UK, you'll find these here!

Hope this helps

Memory full problem

The firmware software has got corrupted ...

you should give the "restore factory setting" once ,after you give this option you will be asked for the security code enter that .. and after the restoration is complete restart your mobile once and check it ...

if you still persist the same problem then you must upgrade the firmware software ..

you can do that only if you have the data cable ...

you can do firmware software upgrade by downloading the application from the website given below :

http://europe.nokia.com/A4579163

but remember not to turn off your mobile or remove the battery while updating is in progress ...
