Check the belt. If the beater bar will spin with the belt loose but not spin under power, the belt may be slipping.

I want the manual for Hoover Turbo Power 3000 Bagless Model # U5349-900

you can find the manual for the hoover unit at hoover.com and click on the left near the bottom, under SERVICE AND SUPPORT it says download manuals. Click on that and it will take you to another page to insert your model number.

You may want to also double check the model number that you posted here as I was not able to find your unit.

Good luck,
Mark

My Hoover Turbo has the power and motor works well but there is no suction power. I have taken all steps to ensure that there is no blockage in the pipes. I live in the Benoni area and would like someone...

remove the screws from the funny looking thing on the back (about 10 philips head screws) and remove the blockage from the big hose. Don;t stop working on it until you are absolutely certain there is no blockage. You may need a long screw driver and maybe another smaller vacum to help get the stuff out. I have the same machine and had the same trouble.

If you want to prove or disprove blockage as the trouble, remove the handle and listen to the motor.

Trying to fix new belt to Hoover Turbo Power vacuum cleaner. Don't see how the belt becomes taut. Fitting it around the roller, there is nowhere to fit the belt to, it just sits loose.

I looked at the user instructions guide online and saw where the 'other end' of the belt should be fitted. It was extremely hard to fit but eventually managed it. Thanks for this solution site. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

Changing bell on a hoover turbo power 6200

Most Hoovers if you turn the vac over, remove the plate covering the brush roll, then you can get to the belt and brushroll.
