My Sony DSC-S75 camera shows a format error when I insert my 128MB memory stick also blinking is C:13:01. Any idea's how to fix? Thanks!

Format error display shows memory card is unstable and need to be format through format option in Camera menu.
Format memory card, if that does not fix the issue, try another memory card in camera and check this memory card in another camera just to make sure either camera got problem or memory card is bad.

Trying to find out what code c:13:01

The problem has nothing to do with the type or quality of the formatting. It is directly related to the disk drive malignment pandemic of Sony Mavica cameras. It seems simple enough to fix, since I fixed my own. You need to unscrew and remove all the small black screws which go around the seam of the camera body (my model was a MVC FD90) Look for little black arrows indicating the screw locations (you need a precision philips screwdriver which can be purchased at the Home Depot for $5.00 under Husky brand name). After removing all screws, try the camera now and see if it works. If it does, then reinstall only 2 screws in any of the holes that appear perfectly aligned with the camera body (hole lines up perfectly between cover holes and camera body holes). Then try again to make sure it still works. If it still doesn't work, then carefully remove camera cover with caution not to damage wire ribbon connection both halves of camera body. Then simply reinstall top with bottom of camera halves. Next, install those 2 screws previously mentioned. Camera should work fine at that point, and floppy disks will now operate when inserted without error message or other malfunctions associated with drive misalignment.

Format error

Format memory stick, if no data on it.
If there is data on memory stick, copy it on PC using any good card reader.

Formate Error Sony Cyber Shoot DSC W50

This suggests one of 3 things. 1. Defective card, care fully clean the contacts or replace the card. 2 Dirty or defective card chamber contacts wrap apiece of clean paper around a card and carefully insert and remove several time into the chamber- thus attempting to 'polish' the contacts. take extreme care this is a very delicate area. 3. Firmware failure - there is no solution, replace the camera -unless it is under warranty Contact the Fuji technical support team at any rate.
