Well, it didn't fix my camera, but when I plug it in to the USB port, and hold down Enter, Play, Record, and the Pic/Shutter top button simultaneously for 5 seconds or so when the camera boots, it goes into test mode. At which time it goes through tests, but doesn't really fix anything. Good luck to you.
It should say: pcba test program 2 times d50h-polaroid-g0911n
then prompt you to hit the power button

Black box on screen how do I take it off?

It looks like a closed captioned text box that just doesn't have any text being displayed. Make sure all of you CC options are turned OFF on both the remote and also through the set up menus on the TV.

Digital video camera DVC-00725F 2 years old I think its the battery- was holding charge for a short time now not at all -

Rechargeable batteries don't last forever, unfortunately. Lithium ones in particular can have their life shortened if you allow them to discharge completely. This camera uses np-60 (Fuji type) batteries. I recently bought a couple of these off Amazon (Polaroid branded!) for less than one pound ($2) each, so there's your solution!

Can I get instructions for use for Polaroid I lost the manual

There is a manual available by clicking on this link. If the link doesn't work for you, just copy and paste it in your browsers address box at the top of the screen.

This will take you to the correct page . Click on the orange box which says download this manual and you will be taken to another page where you will have to fill in your info. It's free and it's free from virus. The manual will be in PDF format so make sure you have the adobe PDF reader. If you don't have that it's available just about everywhere on the net for free.

MINTEK TV - Black screen in the center of the picture

This is the closed captioning text box. Search the menus to turn off closed captioning. The reason for its seemingly random appearance is that not all channels nor all programs provide this service.

How do the videos look when you download them to your computer ? If they are OK there, then they are recording fine, it is just in-camera playback that is the issue.

T-mobile dash text problem

You can not recover lost texts. once gone, they are gone.
Try to get credit from your provider.
To correct issue do a hard reset:

The T-Mobile Dash™ includes a button sequence which can be utilized to perform a hard reset. This method is much more difficult to do but it will perform the reset if the menu options are not available.

Note: Before attempting this procedure make sure to backup your data using ActiveSync. All unsaved data will be lost.

Hard Reset
1. Power the device off by pressing and holding the Power key.

Note: If device is unresponsive remove the battery.

2. With the phone off press and hold both soft keys (The two keys directly under the screen, used to open menus.)
3. While continuing to hold the soft keys, press and hold the Power button for 1-2 seconds.
4. Continue holding the soft keys until you see a message that starts with This operation will delete….
5. Release the soft keys.

Note: If you see the standard boot up screen load steps 2 and 3 were not performed correctly.

6. A boot splash screen will appear, followed by a black screen prompting: Press Send to restore factory defaults, Other keys to quit
7. Press the Send key.
8. When prompted to powercycle device, select Ok

Note: Once the hard reset is performed it could take up to a few minutes to completely boot back up.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

Black box appears on the screen, but not during startup, so screen seems ok...

Go into the menu and find the "captions" heading. Turn off the "text" mode and you will be rid of your black box
