Monitor reads no connection

Hi
I have an MAG innovision LCD monitor when I hook it up to computer
it reads no connection then the screeen goes black by the way my son
accidently knocked it down off the table

1. Check the cable connection to your PC. It might be disconnected.
2. If your have more then one cable input on your LCD monitor(VGA or DVI) check if you selected correct input; digital for DVI or analog for VGA.
