That error means you've either chosen a resolution or a refresh rate which exceeds your monitor's capabilities.
Select a lower refresh rate, and/or set back to the defaults.
Try booting into Safe Mode by tapping F8 at boot
when you are into the safe mode it will allow you to default your video card ...or ..even insert the driver and reinstall it ..Reinstalling the video driver will allow it to get to the default (optimal) values..
if you can open it in normal mode...and only on certain programs does this ..than you should first right on desktop ..and after that properties..and setting s(usually the last one in the right ) there check the resolution and set a lower value..

Why does it keep "saying" out of range?

if camera and base are within a few feet of one another does it have a problem obtaining a signal (syncing ) ?? as if it works ok then there might be a object that is getting in the way of the signal , radio waves move from its transmitter (camera) towards its receiver (monitor) in a straight line , if there is too large a mass in the way then the radio wave can't penetrate it and will be "lost" also ck both the camera's and bases battery levels (if they have one) for proper peak power level , as it takes energy to drive the radio signal towards its receiver .

How do I fix 'out of range' problem when I connect monitor to my MacBook Pro

Check to make sure that closing the panel down does not cause the laptop to go into standby or suspend mode. In other words, are you sure that the video signals are not halted by the action of closing the panel down?

What dose it mean when dispaly says bad cord

You may want to look at the cord where it connects to the range to see if it is loose or burnt. Check the whole cord to see if there are any breaks in it anywhere. The cords are not real costly so you can replace it yourself.

Monitor say out of range

Just connect the monitor to another computer and change the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 or less. This means that the computer that is connected to that monitor, can not display the mode that your monitor is in right now.

I have a flat screen monitor sva but it keeps saying it is out of range

This means your video card is set to a frequency that is too high for the monitor to match. Lower the switching speed via the properties window on the computer. Try 800x600 @ 60hz for starters. You can reboot into safe mode by pressing and holding F8 as you reboot. This will allow you to boot in a low resolution mode which should allow you access to these settings.

My monitor samsung 2330 keeps saying check digital signal cable and I've put the cords all in the same way I had them before and now this screen keeps popping up

If you already check your connections and still no answer from what you're doing, do these steps:
  1. check for any beep codes
  2. remove and reinsert your RAM to another memory slot, if it works you have a problem with your RAM, you'll need to buy a new RAM that is compatible with your motherboard
  3. if you here a 1 short beep, that means it already start the booting sequence of your computer but you don't see any boot screen and still the out of range error. You have a defective graphic card.
  4. Is your monitor is a LCD type? if your answer is yes that means your monitor is not compatible with your old graphic card, buy a new graphic card that is compatible with your motherboard and to your LCD monitor. Because old graphic cards or onboard vga cannot hold much more pixels than newer ones that's why you have an out of range error
