Smoothie pro 600 manual

It means it's working very hard,
I suggest to put items that are thick in first and blend them then add the other ingredients after , the smell is the coating on the motor getting hot , if you see smoke coming out, drink your smoothie wash it out and take it back for a new one.

I have a Vitamix Super 5000. I'm afraid I ruined the motor! I tried pie crust in it...the first batch turned out fine...the 2nd batch I started and the mixer turned off. Won't start. I was NOT using...

It's probably fine, those motors are very strong. I'd be looking for something like a wire off or broken first. A motor does not often fail without a lot of heat and burning smell.

My vita-mix just stopped working, there is slight burned smell, I was blending walnut pieces with dates paste. Any suggestions?

If the burning smells like plastic then the walnut shells most likely put too much strain on the motor and burned it out. If the burning does not smell like plastic then you most likely have walnut shell grit jamming your motor.

This can be cleaned out by first ENSURING IT IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE WALL.

  • First remove the canister (if possible)
  • The remove the blade (if possible) check for a build up of grit between the blade and the shaft connecting it to the motor.
  • Check the channel the shaft passes through from the motor for large chunks of walnut shells or date paste.
  • Clean the canister thoroughly with warm water and leave it to soak overnight in a water/soap mixture.
If this has not resolved the issue then try to claim it under warranty or source replacement parts online.

Waring blender motor makes a noise, and a burning smell when running.

The motor is "burning out" It is not economically feasible to repair it. It will soon stop completely and could possibly overheat the cord or base of the machine. I would recommend throwing it away. If you want to use it until the last second, always unplug it when not is use and do not leave it unattended while running. I wish I could give you more hope than that, but there is no way to repair it.

That burning smell is kind of a death sentence. At least a switch or more likely coils are burnt out.

Burning smell when used

No need to oil it. The carbon brush maybe sparking already it is located inside the motor. It is due to damaged Armature or overloaded motor.

Burning smell

That burning smell was possibly the motor windings burning out. If the windings have burned the blender will need to be replaced. Hope this has helped you today,.......... Sea Breeze

Help me revive my dead Oster blender

Check the motor brushes. They may be worn out. Also, since the 1980s, many electric motors have a thermal fuse in them. This unit "blows" when it gets to a certain temperature.

This fuse looks like a 22-caliber bullet and its pointed end is usually colored. If you have an ohmmeter or continuity checker, see if current will pass through the fuse. If not, you can try to replace it. Most times, the fuse is attached with crimp-on connectors. Replacements can be soldered in, if you put a clip-on heat sink between the fuse body and the soldering iron.
