Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 Notebook
When your clicking an item in your favourites list on AOL for example, a little bell or alert/alrm sounds for each item you click on - can anyone tell me how to remove that 'sound' and stop it doing that.. something needs to be switched off obviously ....
Open Your Control Panel...
Click on the Sounds Icon.....(in classic view)
Click on the Sounds Tab in that window...
Now, Scroll Down in the Program Window.........
Look For : DEFAULT BEEP.. there you can click browse and change it to something less annoying, Or... Simply remove the Sound Theme All Together.
Hope it helps...

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Options.
Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.
Under Display language, choose a language from the list, and then click OK.

right click anywhere on an empty space on desktop and click on properties in the menu ( or go to control panel and double click on display).
Now in the display property windows click on screen saver and then click on power at the bottom right.
you will then get the power schemes option where you can change the settings for hibernation , standby etc, adjust it such that your system never hibernates automatically.
