Question about Logitech Driving Force GT Wheel for Playstation 2, PlayStation3

2 Answers

My driver force gt works fine, then all of a sudden i lose brake & or gas peddle. if i remove & reinsert the cable that is connected to the wheel & peddles (it is a VGA type connector, fixed at the peddle end), it returns to normal for a little while. It doe's appear to be a communication breakdown between the wheel & peddles. please help. Daz

Here you will find the driver and software needed to reinstall the device ..and also the customizing software for it ...I suggest to download the latest one and reinstall and after that use the trouble shooting software and follow instructions if there is something wrong further ..
If it is a communication problem than the reinstalling of the driver will fix it ..
remove completely the old software until reinstalling ..all related drivers and software ..

The connector indeed is lose and that is the cause of the trouble. Please connect it and secure it with tape to the body of the PS3. Else have the female connector replaced as a permanent measure.

How do you replace a brake lamp switch on a 2007 Hyundai Entourage

I hope you have a good back. You can get on your knees and look under the dash and steering column.
Find the gas and brake peddle. Follow up from the bottom of the brake peddle, Look at the back side. The brake peddle bracket depresses a switch( brake lamp switch). it is very simple to remove. As usual with all work...disconnect the negative battery cable. unplug the brake switch. remove the retaining nut (if it has one) and unscrew the switch from the bracket behind the brake peddle bracket. Take note how far it is sticking out for the reinstallation. Replacing it is just as easy

The red cable is the positive cable. You can connect the black ground wire (negative) anywhere on the engine /transmission to any bare metal (unpainted and unvarnished). The shifter or brake peddle work just fine.

Hi...I just bought the Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel and pedals...the pedals work fine, the buttons ON the steering wheel work fine...but the actual steering part DOES NOT work..so I can...

-Check if the connections are plugged in properly -Does the wheel calibrate (turn left and right and then centres) when you turn on the wheel. -Doe the game support the wheel? - Plug the DFGT into the USB port 1 of the console AFTER you turn on the console. So turn on the console and then plug in the DFGT into the USB port 1 and turn it on.
ALSO if you are using the DFGT for pc, make sure you install the "Logitech Gaming Software" from the logitech website =

Calculator working fine.. low battery warning.. changed batteries and now no sign of life

Here are some steps to perform in the order they are presented.
I think your screen is too light. The first step (A) should solve the problem. If not perform the other diagnostic steps.

A Try this first.
  1. Push the ON button.
  2. Even if you see nothing, press the [2nd] key and release it.
  3. Press and HOLD the UpArrow key until the screen darkens.
  4. You may have to keep pressing UpArrow for a little while before you see anything.
B If that does not work
  1. Remove one of the AAA batteries.
  2. Press and hold the [CLEAR] key.
  3. While holding [CLEAR], reinsert the AAA battery and then
  4. turn the calculator on.
  5. The calculator should display the message "RAM Cleared".
  6. Release the [CLEAR] key and then press it one more time to remove the message "RAM Cleared".
C. Third option
  1. Remove batteries including the backup battery for 5minutes.
  2. After the 5 minute period, reinsert all of the batteries and
  3. turn the calculator on.
  4. Adjust the contrast if necessary.
D. Last option

The last option requires the reinstallation of the system. So to use it you must download the TIConnect 1.6 software from education.ti.com. You must have the TI USB SilverLink or the TI Black serial cable ready. You must be connected to the Internet.
  1. Remove one of the AAA batteries.
  2. Press and hold the [DEL] key.
  3. While holding [DEL], reinsert the AAA battery and then
  4. turn the calculator on.
  5. The calculator should display "Waiting...Please install calculator software now".
  6. Connect the TI Connectivity cable between the computer and the calculator.
  7. Click on Start >> Programs >> TI Tools >> TI Connect >> TI OS Downloader.
  8. Follow the on-screen directions to reinstall the calculator's OS.
If the message "Error! Press any key to turn unit off. Then turn unit back on." appears on the graphing calculator, quickly, remove one battery from the calculator and reinstall it while the transfer is taking place.

You have several ways to connect the calculator
  • Serial Black cable that used to ship with the TI 83 Plus. It connects to a serial port on a computer and to the I/O port on the calculator. It requires the Graph Link software available on the TI web site (Downloads, Software and Apps, Connectivity)
  • USB Silver Link cable. It connects a USB port on the computer to the the I/O port on the calculator. It requires the TI connectivity software, also available on the TI Web site.
  • A USB mini A to mini B cable to connect two units.
  • An I/O cable to connect two calculators through their I/O ports.

HI, i recommend inspecting the brake peddle switch located near the brake pedal foot lever under the dash. this switch may be malfunctioning or the wires that connect to the switch housing may be lose as well.

If the switch checks out ok, i would then move to the entire wire inspection. Inspect the wires that run to the brake lights to see if they are lose or torn or corroded. if you notice any lose or corroded contact clips, re[place the entire wiring that connects the brake to the electrical current and switch.

Most of the time its bad wires but, dont forget to check the switch that is linked to the brake peddle. this is a known problem spot also. these switches can go bad over time...

I have a 95 Lincoln Continetal and I can't push the gas peddle down without force. When i pull the cable from the engine the peddle moves fine. Also when I try to move the throttle it will not move.

Hi if the cable is moving freely than it will be either the throttle body jammed or the throttle pedal has ceased, also check nothing has got jammed behind or above the pedal, hope this helps
