Defrost Cycle on Fisher and paykel RF610

Malcolm, if you are indeed getting an F20 fault, this is a problem with the flapper heater. The flapper heater current is low.

First, Check the JST in-line connections for the flapper heater.
Second, Check the resistance of the heater. If open circuit, replace the heater.

When I push the Bake or Broil buttons on my kenmore stove it beeps F30. I do not have a self cleaning oven. The gas burners work fine so I know we have a clear line. What can I do?

Log on to the Kenmore website and click on support. Enter your model number and go to troubleshooting. There you should find what your trouble code means. murf427

My washer is giving me an error message of F30 and it makes humming noise like it wants to come on but it doesn't.

The fault guide says the following about F30:

DISPENSER SYSTEM ERROR
The dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position

1. Unplug and disconnect power
2. Check mechanical linkage from dispensor motor to top of dispenser
3. Check wire harness connections to the dispenser motor and central control unit
4. Check dispenser motor for powered rotations

Hope this helps

F30 comes up and the drain basket is empty

F30/31 - Motor Error

If this error occurs then you should try to run the programme again, but a persistent problem will need to be looked at by a professional. A F30/31 error code can indicate a fault with the carbon brushes, drive belt, motor relay or PCB. You can buy spares for your Hotpoint washing machine at many places on the 'net, simply Google for it.

F30 fault code on model ples389ecb

F30 code fault means the temperature probe has an open circuit. It could be the probe or control board but probably not. There is two thermal overload switches in this circuit which may be tripped. One is located in back of range and the other is located in the front near right burner knob. Find these two switches and mash red button on them to see if it clicks and resets. Dana
