Question about Televison & Video
The clicking is the power relay in the rear of the set. The reason for the repeated clicking is that a problem is being detected and the set is shutting down to prevent further damage. The set will cycle a number of times in an attempt to start up. The flash count indicates the circuit in which the problem has been detected. Were there any other symptoms before the set wouldn't turn on completely? If not, I'd start looking at the vertical or horizontal circuits. A fault in either one will cause hte symptoms you describe.
