Question about HTC PPC-6800 Smartphone
The phone will be on. The screen will be lit. But the phone will freeze up. No phone calls come through, no emails, texts, anything...
I will have no idea that its frozen until I try to use it. I have to reset it and then it will do it again a few minutes later. Swapped the phone out 4 times and it keps doing it???
And help u can offer ??
These days they arent making the moguls anymore, and many of them have been reported as having problems. With that said, i was able to bring my phone in to a service store and they were able to order a new one for me free, but since they arent making moguls, they'll actually give you a TOUCH PRO!! much better phone in my opinion. They asked me if i had insurance, i do, but i hope that doesnt affect any of you. moguls ****...=(

Update it take off all unsecure apps and if it keeps freezing i can give you a code but it depends on your sp if the code will work

I have found two things to keep the freeze from happening. 1. Do not let your memory run over 80% for extended times. It seems that the activesync will ghost and then lock up memory. 2. No more then five voice tags. More than that and there is no hope from freezing up.

A new phone wont correct this, but there is a simple fix.
Go to www.htc.com/us (htc.com will NOT have it) and click the support tab, find your phone, and click software download. There will be a tutorial on there if you're not familiar with updating it. This software update fixes bluetooth connectivity issues and the hibernation issues (missing calls/texts and not powering back up from hibernation). If there was actually something as simple as a code to fix it, it would have already been suggested to you or done by the reps before that switched it out

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
