If you refer that you are trying to turn it off from the button ...and it do not react means that you wired the front panel wrong ...and need to check again the diagram in the motherboard's manual ...I link one here in case you do not have one ..
It a little messy in explaning..but if you follow the actual location by letter will find the diagram by digits below...The wires are all coded in a easy way to recognize...ex: ground have grd on it ...and so on ...
If you connected all well ...and it do not stop from the windows...reinstall it clean if it has an installation from a previous motherboard on the hard disk ..cause it may be an windows error..
If the power socket is on 24 pins...and you have a 20 pin power source ...than you have to align it to the left ..

must have taken a hit before you tried turning it on in the 2 months. dropped, or shocked electrically or someone was messing withit.
or it wasn't working before you got it. only way is to have it checked out. one thing, the fan over the heat sink(over the cpu processor chip), might not be working. take a look and if it does not spin(fan) when you power up then this will prevent pc from booting. have seen this happen before. move wires from van and check connection to motherboard. if it does not spin then take it to shop tell them what you think and they may not charge you to verify it. good luck

Hello, My Acer t650 desktop has lost all power, I replaced the psu thinking it would be that but nothing still. The unit will just not turn on. Any suggestions would be great (I am electrical/electronic...

If nothing happens at startup at all,no fan or HDD spin up sounds,no POST screen, your motherboard is done.
There's an outside possibility that the PSU you installed was bad,it happens occasionally with new ones too,but not that likely.
Before you go to any additional expense try opening the case again, make sure all the connections from the power supp. to the board are fully seated, pull and re-seat the RAM while you're there, and give it one more try.
No offense, but make sure the on/off switch on the new psu is on if it has one, they're frequently forgotten.
Post back and let me know how it turns out?
And good or bad, would you rate my post please?
Good Luck

Probably not the right answer for your problem. Mine is an external 1 TB Simple Drive. Mine wouldn't respond at all. I unplugged the power cable from the back of the hard drive and replugged it in and instantly it worked. I had tried rebooting the computer, plugging/unplugging over and over into the computer and that didn't work.

Stopped Turning on.

The extra 4 volts of electricity may have fried the electronic parts inside the external drive's case. In other words, your hard drive may be ok even though the little circuit board that matches the external hard drive to your pc's USB outlet is ruined.
A computer shop can remove the hard drive from the external case and test that drive to see if it's still working. That's the best case senario. My best guess is that you cooked the electronics in the external case AND the hard drive. So sorry.

Casio qt-2000 dead !

Did you let it stay like that for 5 or 6 minutes to see if it reset or did you shut it back down immediately? Sounds like you did nothing wrong, I mean what if the electricity went out it would be the same thing as what you did...if it did fry something would it happen to still be under warranty? A power surge would have produced the same result.
