First, go to this link http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&ServiceTag=&SystemID=INSPIRON1300/B130&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid= to download the drive for your wireless card.

Next, reboot your computer to safe mode and go to the Device manager and see if you can locate a wireless device, if you do then uninstall it. Then go to the Add/Remove Programs. Make sure that there is no wire less drivers. If there are any wireless device drivers, make sure to uninstall it (those).

Finally, reboot your computer normal and apply the downloaded driver. Hopefully this will give you a fresh start for configuring your wireless device.

Good luck!

How to Restore Disabled Folder Pane in Windows Explorer

Problem:
When you open Windows Explorer, the left hand Folders pane is disabled or gray or blank and the folder tree on left is not available.

Cause:
There may be an error in the registry. A required system file is missing or an incorrect version.

Solutions:
Close Windows Explorer.
Start the Registry Editor (click Start, Run, type regedit and click OK).

Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main.
In the right-hand pane, locate the value named ExplorerBar. If present, delete it.
Restart Windows Explorer. If this does not resolve the issue,
The correct solution depends on the version of Internet Explorer that is installed on the computer.Internet Explorer 5.5 or lower
The preferred solution for computers with Internet Explorer 5.5 or lower is to upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer.
If this is not possible:
Open the folder C:\Windows\System. Check that the file browseui.dll is present. If it is not present, restore this file.
Internet Explorer 6
Open the folder C:\Windows\System. Check that the file shdocvw.dll is present. If it is not present, restore this file.
Open a command prompt.
Enter the command cd \Windows\System
Verify that the command prompt shows C:\Windows\System.

Enter the command regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll.
Enter the command regsvr32 /i browseui.dll.

A message will appear confirming the successful registration of the files.

Now restart the sytem and confirm the problem is solved.

Hi my lenovo laptop Y460 came with the YouCam application, it was just working fine but suddenly now it says "the application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is...

Side by Side architecture uses a trick in a file called a 'manifest' to call a special system file instead of the regular Vista system file (a .dll). The error is saying that finding that special dll written for that application is not working somehow. (side-by-side configuration is incorrect)

If you recently installed new software, like AVG Virus protection, remove it. If not, try to do a system restore (found in Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools) back to a time when you know the system was working properly. This will not affect your data, but may uninstall software or updates installed after the restore date you choose.

If this does not work, you need to be prepared for the long version of this fix as it is very technical and very long. Let me know if you need more help solving this problem

AegisE5.dll was not found.

The file bcmwltry.exe is the tray bar process for the Broadcom Corporation Wireless Network software.

You can try eliminating the program from start up.
Click on Start >>Run, type "msconfig" (without the quotes), then click on OK.

When the System Configuration Utility loads, click on the "Start Up" tab, then scroll down to the "bcmwlt.exe" entry and UNCHECK the box next to it.

Click on Apply, then OK, and the computer will need to be restarted. Do it. Upon restart, you'll see a System Configuration Utility warning. Simply choose the option to stop it from repeatedly opening.

This will be fixing your problem
Have a great day!
Pablo :-)
