Question about Linksys WRT160N Wireless Router
That's error is happening because of an IP conflict between your ADSL modem and your wireless router; both of them want to be 192.168.1.1
Remove the internet cable and reboot the router, then follow the steps bellow:
1) Use a web browser and go to page http://192.168.1.1. 2) In the login screen write the following so you can access the configuration screen.
admin: admin password: admin
3) There you must go the the LAN configuration and find your router IP address (192.168.1.1). 4) Write 192.168.2.1 instead of 192.168.1.1 5) Save and logout. 6) Restart your wireless router and wait some minutes.
Now the new IP address of your router is 192.168.2.1
7) Connect the internet cable again.
Now it should be fixed, if it does't work you'll need to use a web browser and enter 192.168.2.1 and do any further configuration.
