If this is a Windows password, then you can ask local laptop tech to erase the password. Usually it cost $25 - $50. If this is a BIOS password, then you need to contact laptop manufacturer.

When i turn on laptop it says hard disk locked enter user password but i forgot it


If this is the BIOS password pull the CMOS battery for a couple minutes, then replace...it should reset the BIOS settings...if its only a hdd password and u forgot it u can contact local technician but that might cost u

I dont remember my password to my laptop but i remember my HDD password?its a model MX6128 and i dont have the key to it or cd for it anymore

Not able to get into bios settings to change password


Sorry, but the lock on the hard-disk was designed to keep a THIEF from accessing your hard-disk, after stealing your laptop. So, there's no way for that protection to be defeated. Buy a new disk-drive, and reinstall Windows, unless you can remember the password.

If you are running Windows XP Home, you can boot into safe mode, and then reset the password on the user account you are locked out of.

Don't remember password on bios of a gateway solo


Simplest is to remove the battery for a while so the password is lost.
