Question about Frigidaire FRT15G4B Top Freezer Refrigerator
We have a Samsung RS253BASB- a side by side. A small pool of water builds up on the bottom of the refrigerator side under the vegetable drawer and then leaks on to the floor. Maybe 1-2xs a week. My unit is 2 years old
There is a "vent" in the back of the drawer and the water filter is also on that side of the unit. Maybe the water is coming from either of those places? I have not ever changed the water filter, could this be the cause?
I had the same problem. I called tech support and they were no help. Being a handy man I dove into the problem myself and discovered the problem. If you want this solution, I have pictures and information. Simply email email@example.com and I will send you this infomation.

The coils are thawing out which allows that ice build up to drain under the veggie drawer. The water dispenser works intermittently because the line freezes and thaws near the coils. What I can't figure out is how to keep those coils from freezing...ice is several inches thick at times. Not much of a solution, but it's all I can contribute.
