Does not printing

Inspite of carrying out deep cleaning, still no printing

Printhead nozzles may be clogged beyond cleaning, this may be caused by turning the printer off instantly after printing, before the printer has a chance to empty ink residue after each printing session before shutting down. canon makes a cleaning cartridge for their printers, which should clean the nozzles sufficeintly. hope this might help you.

When I go to print everything looks good. The paper feeds through the printer but nothing prints on it.

Welcome to FixYa.

This problem might be due to blockages in the print head nozzles or if a FINE Cartridge is empty.

Kindly try the print head cleaning function to remove any blockages in the print head nozzles.

The procedure for cleaning the print heads, in the printer driver setup window (The printer driver setup window can be displayed through the application software in use or the Start menu of the Windows), is as follows:

Cleaning:

1. Make sure that the printer is on and click Cleaning on the Maintenance tab.

Print head cleaning starts.

2. Click OK when the confirmation message appears.

3. Next, the Nozzle Check dialog box opens.

To check whether the print quality has improved, click Print Check Pattern. To cancel the check process, click Cancel.

If cleaning the head once does not resolve the problem, clean it once more.

Deep Cleaning:

Deep Cleaning is more thorough than Cleaning. Perform deep cleaning when two cleaning attempts do not resolve the print head problem.

1. On the Maintenance tab, click Deep Cleaning.

The Deep Cleaning dialog box opens. Follow the instruction shown in the dialog box.
Click Initial Check Items to display the items you need to check before performing Deep Cleaning.

2. Make sure that the printer is on and then click Execute.

Click OK when the confirmation message appears.
Print head deep cleaning starts.

If there is still no sign of improvement, the ink may have run out and the cartridges need to be replaced.

Did you replace the tri-colour ink-cartridge, or did you replace the print-head mechanism?

Are you sure that the CYAN part of the ink-cartridge is not empty?

have you done a print alignment.. You could also stand to take out the ink and clean the ink compartment with some q-tips and rubbing alcohol.

Unclear print inspite of full cartridges


please the fullcartriedges when some cpoy is dirty and inside the printer. but some of copy after normaly ok and clean copy and not dirty inside the printer. and you use is normaly the printer.

I would suggest you try and clean the print head and that should resolve the problem. Follow the below steps to clean the print head:

Perform a Cleaning of the print head:
Caution: Cleaning consumes a certain amount of ink. Perform Cleaning only when necessary.
Note: The pattern varies depending on the printer and version of Windows being used.
  1. Click 'Cleaning' to perform print head cleaning from the Pattern Check window and proceed to step 3 of the print head cleaning instructions. If the Pattern Check window is closed, skip this step and proceed to step 2.

  2. To perform a print head cleaning from the Maintenance window, click 'Cleaning'.

  3. When the Print Head Cleaning window is displayed, select the target ink group for 'Cleaning'.


    Note: When performing Cleaning for all colors, check 'All Colors'.

  4. After selecting the target ink group click 'Execute' to perform the cleaning of the print head nozzles.

  5. When the confirming message is displayed, check the contents, and click 'OK'.


    Caution: Although the Nozzle Check window is displayed, do not perform any other operations until Cleaning is completed.. Cleaning will take about 40 seconds.


  6. Print a Nozzle Check Pattern and examine.

  7. Perform Cleaning again if necessary.


    Memo: If the pattern is still abnormal after two Cleanings, perform up to two Deep Cleanings.


Perform Deep Cleaning of the print head
Caution: Deep Cleaning consumes a larger amount of ink than normal Cleaning. Perform Deep Cleanings only when necessary.
  1. In the Maintenance window, click 'Deep Cleaning'.

  2. When the Deep Cleaning window is displayed, select the target ink group for Deep Cleaning.

  3. Click 'Execute'.

    Memo: By clicking 'Initial Check Items' before clicking 'Print Check Pattern', you can see the specific confirmation items in Nozzle Check.

  4. When the confirming message is displayed, click 'OK'. (The Power lamp will blink green and Deep Cleaning starts. The blink stops when Deep Cleaning is over.)

  5. When Deep Cleaning starts, check the contents, and click 'OK'.


    Caution: To prevent interruption of the Deep Cleaning process, do not perform any other operations until Deep Cleaning is completed. When the operation of the printer is stopped, Deep Cleaning is completed. Deep Cleaning will take about 75 seconds.


  6. Print Nozzle Check again.


    Note: If the printed pattern is still not normal, perform steps 1 through 4 of the Deep Cleaning process one additional time.


    Caution: If after two Deep Cleanings the Nozzle Check Pattern is still not normal, turn the printer off and let it sit for 24 hours or more before attempting another Deep Cleaning again. The wait time may allow dried ink in clogged print head nozzles to liquefy, and resolve the problem

HP3210 -is not printing the full document only the heading


Go into "Printers and faxes" under "Control Panel"

Right Click on the Printer and select "Properties"

Look for a "maintenance" or "Tools" option then Try
"Cleaning" or "Deep Cleaning"

My Cannon 900d printer has worked fine for 5 years, now it will not print primary colors only pastels.All print tanks are full and I have tried nozzle cleaning and deep cleaning as per the owners manual....

Its a good printer you should carry it to the Canon service center get the EEPROM reset done, service thoroughly and you can replace the print head and get again the best prints as new printer or you can replace the printer as you has used the full worth of it.

Will not print in black


Sounds like a driver configuration. Go to control panel, then printers and right-click properties on the Canon icon, try reverting to default print settings or make sure you are not forcing color printing. Lastly, try printing from a simple program such as notepad - maybe your software inputs color to the printer.
