HB51 appears to be an automatic timer
Capacity is 1000Watts
Your lights are on so the circuit has power
I don't see any troubleshooting steps
It gives you a choice how many hours your lights stay on after dusk

You might try changing the selector to a different stay-on hour.
Turn timer off and unplug and then re-plug timer to see if it re-sets.

Otherwise, it looks like the photocell or 'timer brain' stopped functioning.

The manual does not have troubleshooting steps.
The timer is automatic, which means it turns on automatically.
If the light is ON all the timer, it says the photoelectric light sensor has failed.
Or the internal timer chip is not responding to the photoelectric light sensor.
If you have more than 1000Watts on the timer it will probably overheat and timer will burn out or life-expectancy of timer will be considerably shorter.
The more watts an electric device carries, the hotter it gets.
Heat is the enemy of electric devices, and even with less than 1000W, the device can have a shortened lifespan because of heat.

Instructions. for HB51R timer

Check out the HB61RC manual from Intermatic, here. I can't find an HB51R manual, but hese devices look very similar and probably operate the same way. I'll see if I find anything more - and will post it if I do.

If this works - let me know - thanks & good luck!

I have an intermatic HB51R. when i go to program it to stay on for a certain amount of time it turns the lights off as soon as i switch it away from the on position. Am i doing something wrong?

I don't think it is supposed to be in the "on" position when setting it up.
Turn dial to "off".
Then plug timer into grounded outlet.
Turn dial to 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours to run after dusk.
Plug in your outdoor lights.
Wait until dusk.
Let us know if this works.

My intermatic time HB51R flashes on and off when on the timer position (2,4,6, hours) it keeps the lights lit on the "on" position and "off" on the off position

I think the timer's photoelectric eye is getting too much light from the Load it turns on.
To check this, set timer at 2 hours, and then put black tape over the photoelectric eye so timer senses that it is dark and turns ON.
If timer does not blink with black tape, then problem is too much light with will cause on-off cycling of the timer.
If timer blinks with black tape over the eye, then timer is suspect. Exchange timer for another one.

I need a remote for my rca F25648 tv. Can I buy any universal remote?

Regardless o brand, take the time to check the maker's website to see if your model code set is built in to the 'universal' remote; there isn't really any such thing, there are 'multibrand' and 'multidevice' remotes and often, even if a specific model is included, it may only offer the most basic functions.
Your best bet is to bite the bullet and pay for a known original or a tested substitute here:

Help me

What Windows are you using? regardless, do not use the set up of windows to create email account if your just going to use hotmail. Go directly to the browser (internet explorer) and do it from there. Hotmail is web base mail account (meaning u need not set it up in your pc) the email that needs setting up is email client like outlook.

Hope that helps
