Are you able to copy the image/video? If not it is a file system error. The SD card's default filesystem is FAT which has a tendency to get corrupted once in a whie. Formatting the card should resolve the problem. Note that all the data on the card will be erased while formatting. Also while formatting choose quick format and choose FAT32 from the filesystem dropdown list before starting the format.

When trying to view photos fron my sd card i get an error is preventing the photo or video from being displayed error code 0X80010108

Your SD card has a virus. Try to scan and clean your card with your anti-virus. If the problem still persist, it is better to format your card but all the files saved in your card will be deleted. If you will use it to other computers please try to scan it first with the anti-virus to prevent it to have virus.

It displays a card error message when i insert an sd card.help please.

You have to check out that if your camera support your SD card(type, capacity size ) or if there is real something wrong with the card. Using a card reader insert to PC and see if the card can be read, if it's OK, formatting it by PC then insert it back to camera and see if the problem can be solved. Else, If the card can't be read by PC you only have to change it.

Printer wont read SD cards does read sony memory

If it does not seat (fit) properly, why say the printer will not read SD cards? It certainly will read SD cards that are supported. You can still upload to computer and print from there as you suggested.

Displays file error message when trying to playback still images and video footage

Did you take the card and insert into computer/device to view photos?

Viewing photos can alter the format of the photos thereby preventing your camera from reading them.

I viewed some photos and rotated a few photos and my camera no longer recognizes the format.

good luck

Card read error on the digital picture frame - brand new. I bought this 7" digital photo frame from argos and I insert the SD card whilst the device is turned off, when I turn it on the message reads...

Put the card back into the camera and off load/take off your pictures (Put them on the computer). Then, put the card back into the camera and go to your options menu. Find the format feature, and format the card. Take some new pictures and then try putting the card back into the picture frame. Does it work? If so, transfer the images from your computer back to the card. If it continues to work, then Great! If not, more than likely there is an improper or corrupt file among your photos.

Good Luck!

Memory card

When you use an SD card in mulitple cameras, each camera creates it's own folder beneath the DCIM folder. I'm not sure if you have a program that automatically opens when you insert the SD card in your reader, but perhaps you can try double clicking on "My Computer" and locating your reader/SD card and opening that folder manually. Once you're there, open the DCIM folder and see if there are multiple folders inside. Open each one to see if you can locate your pictures.

If you have a program that opens automatically when you insert the SD card you'll need to figure out how to tell it to look in other folders.

Error 30

The "E30" error code indicates reading/writing data on a SD card has failed. Especially, the error code "E30" may appears when you tried to remove a SD card while the camera was processing data. Solution To clear the "E30" error, try performing the following procedure. 1. Try using another SD card. If you have another SD card, try loading it in the camera. If the error code is not displayed when the other SD card is loaded, there may be something wrong with the first one rather than with the camera. 2. Use your computer's ScanDisk utility to check the SD card for errors. Use ScanDisk to check the SD card for card error or card failure. Refer to the instruction manual for your operating system or Windows Help for further instructions. (If you are using a Macintosh, use the "Disk First Aid" program to check for card error or card failure. Refer to the instruction manual for your Macintosh OS for further information.) Be sure to back up the data on the SD card on the computer before you check the SD card. If a card error or card failure occurs when you use your computer's ScanDisk, there is something wrong with the SD card. Follow ScanDisk's on-screen instructions to solve the problem. 3. Format the SD card with your camera Try to format the SD card with your camera. Please refer to the "Camera User Guide" for your camera for instructions on formatting SD cards. Also, please note that formatting a SD card will erase all data on the card. Once the SD card is formatted, follow the procedure described in step 2 above and use your computer's ScanDisk on your computer to check the SD card for errors. If a card error or card failure occurs when you are using computer's ScanDisk, there is something wrong with the SD card.
