Question about Craftsman Saws
On my older 10 inch Craftsman, the motor hangs on a hinge device. All that is necessary is to lift up on the motor and slide the belt off of both pulleys. Take the broken belt to Sears, a nearby hardware store, or auto parts supply house. They should be able to get you an exact (or nearly so) replacement. Buy a segmented type if you can which travels around small pulleys with more ease and is just as durable. Hope this helps!
