You have a short. Unplug the unit, open it up and see if you find any burnt marks.

Rv ac throws breaker. what all is wired to the breaker?

You can narrow it a bit. Turn the ac off and reset the breaker. If it trips then you have a short to ground likely BEFORE the machine. If it does not then it's internal. Only turn the fan on, no heat or cool. If breaker trips then it's in the blower. If not, turn on cooling. If it trips then, likely in compressor. Good luck!

We have a 2007 Siemens washer. It has started throwing out the circuit breaker during the spin cycle; turning the drum by hand the bearings sound rough, is this the likely cause?

the only to diagnose the problem properly is to get in a technician to find out why it is throwing circuit breakers
that is a short or insulation problem
bad bearings may be overloading a low performance motor so see what he has to say and then decide
at seven years , parts will be getting scarce for the machine so a new unit is an option to be considered

Ecosmart ECO11 throws breaker halfway through the shower

You could have a weak breaker, Check the amp draw on the breaker while the heater is running and if it is not pulling more amps than the breaker is rated for replace the breaker, If it is pulling more amps than it is rated for you have a element or thermostat going out and causing to high of a amp draw throwing the breaker. Good Luck

Throwing breaker

Throwing the MAIN BREAKER should not happen. Calculate the distance to your main box. Tell me the wire gauge or breaker amperage. Whatever you do, do not get a larger breaker! If its a breaker on this unit Its probably doa with current leak possibly. DO NOT USE fire hazzard IF SHE TRIPS!!! let me know if its your main breaker inthe house. Hopefully you dont have crappy cloth wiring.

Clothes dryer throws circuit breaker

Hi tougar,
If you are having problems with a brand new dryer you should not attempt any repairs. The machine will still be in warranty and Sears will send someone to solve the problem for you. If you attempt a repair on the machine you will void your warranty.

Throws Breakers

Check the power cord for damage, and repair anything you find.

If confident enough, open the unit up and inspect all the internal wiring - check for chafed wires and for terminals that have come undone or that are touching anything they aren't obviously meant to.

Check the unit hasn't got wet inside - mop dry then leave to dry out properly in warm air for a couple of days if it has.

If that doesn't throw up anything obvious, then you're probably looking at insulation breakdown of some component (my money would usually be on the element). For a unit like this, I doubt it's economic to start buting spare parts, so you're probably better off buying a new coffee maker.

Good luck

Breaker keeps throwing

jhweis80 Why do you think the problem is the dryer? The circuit breaker itself could be bad and this is what I will check first. Probably you need a professional electrician to do it for you. Gendos post back...
