I have a 32lg2000 and this function is not available now keeps coming up - any fix-it???

  • samart3 Feb 14, 2009

42LG70 Began turning itself on and then flashing "This function is not available now". LG tech support said no known issues on this model and advised turning it off for 5-10 minutes. Told them I had done that, but the issue returned within a day.

Because the TV was purchased less than 30 days ago I'm bringing back to Best Buy - called and they will replace it. So out it goes...

I was able to get into one of the menus when this was occurring and then the selector kept moving up - like the "up" command on the remote above enter.

Regardless, I'm sending this one back, but will try another one of the same model.

I have the same issue. Unplugging from AC for a minute and plugging back in at least clears the message.

I think i can help you with your problem.Disconnect all cable componets from the tv everything but the tv power cord once this is done unplug the tv for 60 seconds plug the tv back in. take the tvs original remote take the bateries out once there out point the remote at the tv hold the power botton down for 30 seconds while still pointing at tv then. put bateries back into the remote and the msg should be gone.

The solution seems to work for awhile only to come back again. The comment about the PS3 gave me an idea that I'm working through. I use my PS3 HDMI cable with the adapter for my computer output. I'm trying a regular HDMI cable to see if it is any better. So far, so good.

Hi,i purchased a LG GM360 two weeks ago,and last night it keeps saying i hav "maximum limit of applications reached" when i go to open a message or play a video,i was wondering if you could help...

If you press the button in the middle at the bottom of your phone the screen will show a list of apps running (or some shortcuts ,if so click the blue arrow at the top right of the screen to get to your apps page) .
Then you can press one at a time to goto and shut them one by one or press 'end all' at the bottom right to close them all.

It sounds like you overloaded the CPU which forced it to reboot. Try removing the battery unit from behind, leaving it for 5 minutes, then reinserting the battery unit and switching the phone on. Give it a minute to fully load, then try opening your contacts and messages. If there still seems to be problems, services is where you should go to and have it checked.

Last night the screen started going dark, then went out, black

If still under warranty, I would suggest going that way as this is a bad matrix driver....

Philips LCD TV "47, model PFL 8404H/12, NO SIGNAL on all 4 HDMI

This is quite tricky as it was working until last night and suddenly stopped receiving signals. What can happen wrong?
Do you have any other Player or other HDMI cables to try out. Sometimes the cables would be damaged or PC may fail to detect the HDMI.

Try this out from Philips helpdesk where there is new SW and FAQs are available.

Let me know if you are not able to upgrade the FW (if you do not get the support on ugprading)

No Video or Audio on HDTV/No Vodeo on Standard TV

Don't worry , You did everything right . The problem is
the G.P.U. . It has de-solder it self from the main board.
The only reliable repair that will last is to have it
re-flowed back to the main board and properly
re-clamp that will fix 99.9% of most problem.
Permanently ,cost should be around 80.00

if you have any questions feel free to email me.
