Settings in car radio

I believe there are several settings that can be achieved on this in-car radio that can be carried out without the unit being switched on. Can you please let me know what these are?

Maybe the make/model of the car radio wasn't shown in my question. I have a Pioneer DEH p6300r and I believe there are some options that can be set by pressing a combination of buttons. An example of these options is changing the appearance of the 'entertainment'. I.e these options can be set without pressing the Source button first to switch on the radio.

    Hope this makes it clearer.

How to adjust volt. reg. on loboy 154 starter/generator

Sorry but I am not familiar with the machine or the application.

The unit is effectively a dynamo and there is a couple of methods of regulating the output. The movable brush method is crude, inefficient and outdated which leaves a variety of two and three bobbin vibrating electromagnetic types with and without temperature compensation. Until the charge rate exceeds the battery voltage the dynamo would usually be disconnected from the battery, something that could be achieved by manual switching but is commonly the function of the first bobbin of a standard regulator, the dynamo cutout.

The second bobbin is the vibrating voltage regulator which is normally adjusted off load or in the open circuit position; disconnected from the battery and that is achieved by preventing the cutout contacts from closing with a piece of card or similar. The engine speed is raised and the adjustment carried out until the dynamo output voltage is 14.5/15.3. The former adjustment for continuous operation and the latter for short use or operating at night.

It is inevitable there will be variations and it is worth noting if the battery cannot be disconnected from the dynamo an accurate regulator adjustment cannot be made unless the battery is in good health and fully charged - 13.0/13.2 volts after standing for several hours.

I have a 2006 Audi A6 that I got from Japan. How can I change the region code settings for the tuner/radio so that the frequencies will range from 88.0 to 108.0? Secondly, the telephone and navigation menu...

unfortunately there is currently no way to change the tuners region without taking it to the dealer and having it hooked up to their computer. as far as the language goes i believe that there is no way to permanently remain in english due to the fact that the default settings when the car was manufactured was programmed to be in japanese.

I need to change my region code to Europe How do i do that?

The device manufacturer predetermines the available setting from which adjustments are achievable elsewhere from factory. First, once a device is acquired from the market, an initial installation has default settings that are capable of alterations with conditions. Products manufacturer for the American market would usually have for regional settings the fifty main land states to include territories at which availability become possible. For example, devices may have for regional settings east coast, west coast, mid western states, and southern states as choice settings capable of alterations. However, device intended for the American market may least have regional alteration feature capabilities. The default regional settings may have been the devices only available settings. Alternately, device may simply disallow settings like with those without any regional adjustment features. Exploring through the device menu buttons should make available any manufacturers embedded setting capable of manufacturer's alterations. If any settings are found on the device, refer to the user guide for step by step instructions on achieving alterations.

I brought my 2004 Honda Pilot to the repair shop and i guess they disconected the battery a "CODE" message is being display on the radio's screen, can you advice how to decode this message?

Call , or better yet, visit your Honda dealship, prove ownership, and they will help you with the code. Any time the battery is disconnected , that radio thinks it's being ripped off. This feature makes it impossible for anyone to use that unit without proof of ownership, renderring it pretty much useless to thieves. Ask your repair shop to do this for you and absorb any cost. I know I do that at my shop, and as a matter of fact, it would have been done b4 I gave you your car back!

There should be a red wire and yellow wire with connectors in the middle. swap the wires over, so red plugs into yellow, and vice versa.
