Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I wonder if you could help me. I have a Hitachi AX-M110, which I bought about a year ago - up until yesterday it has been perfect. However, it now will not play Region 2 DVD's, even though it used to? DVD's that I have watched on it before now bring up an error message telling me that it is the wrong region.
The actualy disc slot itself still plays CD's and non regional DVD's.
I really dont want to replace it as they dont seem to sell them in silver anymore so im sure its fixable?!
If you can help me I will be eternally gratefull! :-)
Im not familiar with yours, but some DVD players, particularly PC drives can change regions a set number of times (for pc its usually 5)
So the last change that it made, it locked there. That is why regionless discs will work, but others wont.
If you have many discs of different regions try a few (particularly of the last that worked) and see if there is a pattern. Also look in your DVDs menu to see if its mentions what region its set to.
